Would the Defender of Varrock happened if the Delrith had reached full power?

Prolly not.

You never know though, the Delrith didn't want the shield, Zemourga would still want it whether Varrock had been desecrated or not.

The shield would still be in two places. Who knows where those pieces would have ended up. Perhaps they would have been destroyed.

I doubt they would have been destroyed, probably burried under a city of rubble.

If the gangs caught wind of it before they were destroyed, they could be anywhere. How did the shield break, anyway?

A shield that broke by falling to the ground couldn't block a punch from my grandmother. What would be better is having the shield cleaved in two by a really big bad guy, or having the "shield" be in reality arrav's family crest, split in two after being stolen by bandits.

I believe the truth was that the gangs fought over it, and it broke.

Jeeze, you really can't take a joke or anything. It was just meant to be kinda funny.
