I love the lore behind the orc in Warhammer. They are the most powerful race in existence, they are just too stupid to realise. Orcs can pick up guns from the floor and fire them because they want the guns to fire - regardless of if there is ammunition in them, or if they are even working guns. However, they don't realise they are doing this. I think it's the humans that noticed as they saw orcs firing weapons that they had disposed of (because they were broken or empty). If orcs where aware of their power they could end the war as simple as believing the humans are non-existent - then they would be.
