3mptylord added before Ruy wrote:You scour the house, searching under the bin and behind the shelves, and discover several torn up pieces of parchment. You place them together and they seem to form the missing page. Although it definately doesn't contain information on the Mahjarrat!
The pages of the journal are filled with random numbers in random sequences without. In between are random words, body, mind, soul, evil, hills, sand, emptiness. Now you are left on your own, no one to tell you what to do, and little idea what to do. Only this bizarre journal.

Journal says:
70 47741/V 7I-I3 |>0\X/312 70 7U12N SAND 1/V70 EMPTINESS 4/\/D 123/V\0V3 EVIL, 4 BODY 12U/V3 /Y\U57 133 <0/X\131/V3D \X/17I-I 4 MIND 4/VD SOUL 12U/\/3.
Journal really says:
To attain the power to turn SAND into EMPTINESS and remove EVIL, a BODY Rune must be combined with a MIND and SOUL Rune.
Of course, you have no clue how to combine Body, Mind, and Soul runes.

Re: Multi-Written Quest
But who can help with that...?
NOBODY! That's who! You'll have to figure this out for yourself. Your first attempts are... less than successful. After trying to combine them like combination elemental runes (and failing epically, ending up in a space-time rift with your body, mind, and soul seperated) you decide to travel to Lunar Isle to see if these advanced mages may have something to add... and they do - that is the fact that...
(new quest requirement - must have started Lunar Diplomacy)

It is impossible to combine those runes without ending up dead. After studying it more thoroughly, they do discover that it is an anagram.

Re: Multi-Written Quest
The anagram says = Loud Boys Mind
What do people say to loud people? Do you mind!??! And where are loud people supposed to be quiet!?!? THE LIBRARY!
After searching far and wide for where an ancient library may have sat during the time, you give up and head for a more current area.
Go to Varrock's library and talk to Reldo. He said that one of his ancestors also talked like you. Reldo then reveals something no one would have guessed - He is part of a secret clan. There are only a few remaining survivers of this clan, there is no admission, only the children of the original members and their children (and children's children's... ect.)
This clan is one of a kind. It does many different jobs, but each help preserve the world we live on. Recently, they've been trying to find out what's going on in the Desert. Plagues, demons, mahjarrat, dieties... It's never happened like this before!
Reldo blindfolds you and brings you into the secret meeting chamber of the clan. After a vote, they decide to allow you into the clan (as long as you keep your mouth shut) until your quest is finished. Then... they bring in the box.
The box contains one item... an amulet of spirits, the sacred idol of the clan. They knew eventually it would aid them in their journey, and they trust you with it.

Reldo tells you that the particular ghost you encountered was a Transition Spirit. Usually, when someone dies, their spirit leaves the body and either go to the next world, or remain on Earth as a ghost. A Transition Spirit is a spirit that has failed to do either; it has not been able to break the bonds with its body and is trapped.*
Only one method exists that allows a Transition Spirit to free itself: by taking over the body of the one that killed them (The Archaeologist). Reldo warns you that, when the Transition Spirit succeeds, its new body will become immortal. You must now stop the ritual that has started inside the temple.
(New Reward: Amulet of Spirits)
*that is why the ghost could not see, hear, or speak when its body did not have the respective parts.

Re: Multi-Written Quest
The clan advices you to go back to the hills (Just south of the Agility Pyramid) You journey to the desert, with the amulet equipped, (You can go without, but you won't advance in the quest)
It seems you are unable to cross the River Elid, every time you attempt you are attacked by Sand Guardians, Salt Guardians and Water Guardians, which respawns every time they are killed. After many attempts you decide to find another way to cross it.
You can use either fairy rings or Farao's Scepter.

[I used the Fairy Ring]
You appear south of the Lizards, and travel south to the Hills. You notice something following you, just out of site in the fog - you can't get closer to it, as it's within the fog and will move with it. The "thing" will disappear once it crosses the river Elid.

Re: Multi-Written Quest
Suddenly, your waterskins will dry out and if you have an Enchanted Water Tiara it will unequip and not function. You will start losing health rapidly due to the harsh desert sun. You can either get out yourself before you die, but once you reach 1 hitpoint, you will get teleported out by Reldo's clan.
They can't allow that to happen again if you are within the hills as they might not be able to save you. You should solve that problem before continuing on our quest. WHo might be responsible for our water disappearing?
