You have no idea how to go about this, so you make your way to the River Elid and try to speak with the Guardians. The Guardians all point towards the river, but say nothing. You lean over and speak to the water, feeling foolish, and apologise for taking the statue. The water seems to forgive you, as the guardians all return to dust.

Naturally, it is the Spirits of the Elid who have caused so much trouble. They've dried up your water and turned the inhabitants of Nardah into salt. The only proper thing to do to make up for stealing the statue is to go apologize to them (wherever they are). Once you've explained the situation, they forgive you but want the statue back when you're done. Now that you're free to wander the desert again, ou can return to the three hills and keep working on preventing the Transition Ghost from becoming immortal.

Although you have apologised to the spirits, most villagers from Nardah are still salt. Bankers, Herb guy and other important NPC's are normal though.

You decide to return to the Hills to stop all this once and for all. You are attacked by a level 354 Sandstorm, you can't fight a sandstorm, so the only thing to do is run, the Sandstorm will follow you and keep attacking you.

Once you reach the hills, the sandstorm will die out and your amulet will finish it off. The stone where the Archaeologist was sacrificed is broken, but two other rocks has appeared on top of the two other hills. One full of very small strange symbols and the other one is blank.

You ponder in confusion. Smile

You take a look at the rock with strange symbols. The world around you dissolves and you appear in some kind of strange dimension. Around you are strange whirls in red and blacks forming strange patterns. Apparantly there is no exit.

You are attacked by a strange black shadow that appears to shimmer, like there are missing pictures in the film. You cannot see its damage splats, your own damage splats and its hitpoints bar. You'll just have to keep fighting until it suddenly dies and you are returned to the real world.

You feel dizzy, your stats are drained and you have forgot your memories from Vampire Slayer. The stone cracks.

Wisps of black begin to jet from the stone and, panicking, you try to push the two pieces of the stone together.

The wisps whirls up sand all around you, the stone pieces appears to reject each other. Your remaining stats are dropping rapidly.

5 members of the clan teleport in around you... With three people on each side you push the two halves together...but 4 small black wisps dart out into the desert leaving invisible traces

[New Req: Ring of Visibility (not sure if we already put desert treasure but whatever)]

[asks as to what this it is required for]

Even with aid from the clan, the stone halves continue to repel. One of the members asks you to obtain some sort of seal, or find somewhere to dispose of the stone.

[options, the Void Portals at the Outpost? Some sort of magical bubble, with the help of Morgan le Faye]

[tracking the shadows]

you now of course are faced with the gloomy prospect of trying to get a void knight to okay the plan...

[lol at the idea of a wisp leaving any trace, considering it's airborne - but yeah, I only asked because it's not yet required, we have actually begun looking. Also, aren't all tracks invisible... that's the point of Hunter? If the sprites can be seen, despite the obvious implication of being airborne, surely their tracks would be no more invisible than other tracks?]

You make your way to the Void Knight outpost, Ring of Charos ready for backup, and begin to discuss the possibility to having something disposed of into the Void Portal. They will, of course, laugh at your insanity. But you begin to "insist" - your ring-self beginning to creep into the conversation towards the end.

[you know, where the ring appears to be more in control than you, and the player starts to go evil-face Wink]
