The new-look map looks good! (be honest, even if you just thinking the roads are too wide)
Re: RuneScape's HOT new look!
Coudl be another spelling of Memento >Mori Sentence means "Remember you shall die" Mement is something with remembering, so Mori could be something with death?

Maybe
"Mori" is Slovakian for "sea" - sea-country?

Some of my post disappeared. Memento Mori means "Remember you shall die" Memento being something with remembering, mori must be something with death. That makes more sense.

Re: RuneScape's HOT new look!
I suppose it's always possible Morytania does mean death, and they just named it that before they ever gave it a past.

Ot it is always possible that it was named that after the tainting of hallowvale...and that morytania wasn't the original name

Only issue there is that it has been confirmed it was Morytania. Hallowvale only occupied the Mort Myre area of Morytania, the north coast was never part of Hallowvale. An example... Canfis was once Kharryl (I think, I always confuse my Zarosian), and Zaros did not reign in Hallowvale.

Re: RuneScape's HOT new look!
When was this confirmed...Something saying something was in the morytania region doesn't necessarily mean that it was called that at the time
for example: Many history books say that Hannibal crossed to spain and that Carthage built their colony of New Carthage in Spain...this doesn't mean it was called Spain then...It was a part of gaul

Re: RuneScape's HOT new look!
... urgh, when the ghost has never known history other than it's time, it's a fact. Otherwise, where the hell did said person pull the name "Moryrania" from. If you're reading a history book, then fine... but this isn't a history book, it's the ghost of a character in the book. I thought that much was obvious.
Edit: Senliten is the character I'm on about, btw.
However, I still reckon she's confusing names. She says that the Mahjarrat can change their face, so maybe "Zaros" isn't actually Zaros.
I never noticed she said "dark lands" before, so more evidence that she may be confused. Hallowvale was far from dark, and Zaros didn't reign there.
I'm still going with when Mod James said "Do not confuse Zaros with Lord Drakan's advisor, Charos."... I mean, he was pretty much unheard of at the time, so why people would make that confusion is unknown. So maybe it was a subtle hint? Charos has the ability to infiltrate the minds of overs, and control them, possible other tricks such as illusory skills. It's entirely possible we're on about the Third Age here, and not the second, and it was Charos who attacked from Morytania (as Drakan reigned in this time). Although... Icthlarin was not the leader of the "Stern Judges" at this time.

Senliten wrote:That vile creature Zaros and his minions. Ever plotting in the dark lands of Morytania. During my reign, we defeated him temporarily with the aid of the Stern Judges. Icthlarin be praised for his strength and wisdom.

Re: RuneScape's HOT new look!
Um as you said...northern morytania was never part of Hallowvale...It was where zaros was...it was dark...and it could have been called morytania for quite reasonable death related reasons
