The RuneScape "Manual" SUCKS!!!!

WHY!? This is an ADVENTURE game!

You know what, I am struggling to word my response. There is no real point in arguing this with you because you have an opinion on the matter. However, the point stands that a lot of people will share my opinion. And why should we go to a 3rd Party manual well Jagex has the potential to one-up them. If you're not interested in lore, trivia, personalities, background, content history (what something used to look like, or do) then don't go to the manual. It's quite simple really.

Personally, I like to read about what I'm playing. I enjoy learning stuff that I would not have otherwise noticed. Or make references that I would have never made. RuneScape isn't an adventure game for the majority of it's content, the odd quest maybe. It's a roleplaying game and the majority of it's content requires the character to take a role in the game... the game, unfortunately, does not really build this role outside of quests, and doesn't retain it particularly within quests either. I find it frustrating when my characters maturity seems to vary between quests, or the way we are treated.

I don't use the Wiki for a how-to, I use it for facts. I don't want to be told "the fastest way to train", I just like to know what Woodcutting is and how I can train it.
