It's got some holes, but I love the idea of different countries actually using a different currency. I don't see ports using a currency different to the country they are in, though. Confuse

Oh...ports use their currency...but they also cater to the seafolk of the world and use their doubloon as well

Yeah...if you're in a land...(so for example brimhaven and musa point would only operate on the doubloon)

One flaw with that they also accept the currency of other seafolk is that the other seafolk come from other lands where they'd use non Dubloons. But I like the name so I'd want to use the currency. Tongue

Doubloons are the standard coin of those of a more piratical nature...they then spread and now the Charter Ships, Karamja, and the Desert all use the currency
