How do you like it done?

Here's my first poll: how do you like your bacon cooked?

Several days ago I had a heated conversation about this

Halfway means... well, not raw - cooked fully, but not crispy

It's got to be crispy! Not quite blackened (because then it loses all bacony flavor), but nice and shriveled.

English bacon is strange...it's almost completely raw (to me, anyway). And baked beans area delicious!

I can't stand baked beans... or crispy bacon!

I hate marmite lol. Baked beans are... something you eat when you have nothing else, I'd never volunteer to eat them. And English bacon is only raw if you eat out and don't get the choice... most places just fry it for a few minutes so it's legally cooked and throw it out. You need to go somewhere where they are cooking for you... then it's good bacon. I stayed in a 4-star hotel once and it was still just quickly-cooked-we-have-50-customers-to-feed style bacon. Would it harm anyone to leave it in for another 5 minutes with a bit more oil?
