Pokémon is built on a really simple engine - it's all sprites!
So I was thinking of creating a Pokémon version based off RuneScape! Notable characters, locations, etc. Of course, in RuneScape you fight an NPC... in PokéScape you'd fight an NPC's team of Pokémon! Where you'd usually kill Giant Rats there would be a patch of long-grass and you'd bump into Ratatas and stuff! I thought it might be fun.
Of course, there's no changing your characters appearance and there wouldn't really be skills... although there's fishing and den-building. But it's the fact you'd be playing what you think is Pokemon, only you're visiting places like Lumbridge and Varrock!

And here I was thinking of interducting a PokéTrainer skill where you
interact with Pokémon to RuneScape. I even have a basic idea for
an interductory (sp?) quest to learn the new skill.

WHat is the intention of this? Playing pokemon in RuneScape world? Or simply create maps in Pokemon Editor?
