In the proccess: Assassin
This is not a minigame because it is played during play. It could be a number of things but It would provide a whole new part (Kinda) of runescape!
There would be levels that you gain that would be placed next to the combat Lv. If you think there is a better place to put this then tell me and I will move this there.
The basic Idea is: You sign up to be in the assassins guild and once you are in you are given a target. The target is another runescape player. The point is to locate the target and TAG him or her. It will be an actual player that is in the guild. When you TAG someone they are sent to their spawn area. They don't lose any items except they lose their chance to capture their target and they must get a new one. Someone can do the same to you.
You gain levels based on how many people you TAGGED. For instance:
Lv. 2: 5 TAGs
Lv. 3: 15 TAGs
etc.
The prize for TAGGING is money maybe 1-10k considering there are so many players. As A safe-keep if your target is not on for 72 hours you are given a new target.
As you gain levels you gain the ability to weild new daggers and stealth weapons. Not sure of what yet.

So... it's like a cross-map capture-the-flag? I see what you mean. It sounds like a fun thing to do. Unless your just randomly walking and get tagged...

to be honest, I don't think that assassins and assassin-related things wouldn't fit in with RS too well...

I don't know. Being an extension of Slayer might be fun - being told to kill a specific target which could even be just a higher-levelled version of existing creatures. The God Wars Dungeon could be considered an assassin-mission - to kill General Graador or what have you! But people-killing, even NPC, sounds like it's just a brutal extension to Bounty Hunter. The Kinshra, noble Zamorakians, still have basic human morals... Lord Daquarious gave up information to spare the lives of his men - so assassination isn't the missing "Zamorakian skill", either.
