Gielinor's Fiyre - Fiyre #6 - 7, Epilouge, and Rewards

Post by Dragon78114 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:29 pm

ANNOUNCEMENT

I am writing a prequel to this quest, it will be called 'The Demonic Doll' it is much, MUCH shorter than this giant, not any less cooler or challenging.

I have updated some of the rewards and requirements to better-fit the difficulty of this quest. Particularly in the 4th Fiyre. The rewards are MUCH more generous and I have made
the requirements a little harder, due to recent quest releases, and the growth in levels among players and to better-match the difficulty of the quest, while keeping relatively challenging to reach that level.

==#^_> VI. The Fiyre Shield or the Fiyre Infini-Arrows <_^#==

The Sixth Fiyre you will be searching for is the Fiyre Shield (for melee) or the Fiyre Arrows (for range).

Q&A (read it, it explains a lot and will help you prepare)

Q: Should I bring items to help me along with the quest?
Yes, you should bring your Ivandis Flail, sextant, chart, watch, spade, and lock picks (the more the better).

FOOD AND ARMOUR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE LATTER PART!

Q: What fights will I encounter?

A: A level 200 Fiyre Thief, 2 Cult members, a level 345 Vyrewatch, a level 100 Zamorak Mage in the Wilderness, and a level 150 Saradomin Mage.

--------------------------------------------------------------

1. Feel your Demonically Enchanted Key. It will lead you near the Windswept Tree way up in the Fremennik Province.

2. Use your shovel by it, and enter the cave you had to enter in Olaf's Quest.

Once you are in the front room, continue on the main path until you appear in the room with the Brine Rats. There is an empty pedestal.

3. Search it. You will find a Crumbling Clue Scroll, a Bottle of Ectoplasm, and a Rusty Amulet of Eternal Fire.

4. Examine each item. If you examine the clue scroll, a message in your chat box will say, "This clue looks suspicious. But it is too old to be read."

The Ectoplasm will read as, "A holy force is holding these remains together."

The Amulet will read, "This needs to be shined with something holy."

5. Use the Ectoplasm on the amulet. You will get a 'Charged Amulet of Fire'

Wear it. You will then miraculously be able to read the Crumbling Clue Scroll. YOU WILL NEED THE AMULET FURTHER ON IN THE QUEST, BUT NOT AFTER IT!

It will say, "A mystery can unravel itself at 22 degrees, 54 minutes north and 29 degrees, 1 minutes east."

This, my friend, is an actual clue scroll. It will lead you to level 47 Wilderness, in the place south of the Members gate and the volcano thingy at some ruins.

You cannot teleport there due to the Demonic Doll being in your inventory, however, transportation that doesn't require magic is perfectly fine. Portals are alright, as well.

6. Once you arrive there, dig using a spade. You will have some company. A level 100 Cult member, and level 100 Zamorak Mage, both will use magic attacks on you, so Protect from Magic is advised; you will not get the casket unless you kill both of your friends. The Zamorak Mage drops a casket.

After you kill those people, it is best to get out of the Wilderness as fast as you can because you cannot teleport or EVEN use magic due to the doll and if you die, you have to travel all the
way back and you'll need to get your Treasure Trail tools again.

7. When you reach a safe spot to crack open the casket, have a lock pick or two ready. The chart used in the search for the First Fiyre applies to this casket.

8. Once you have opened it, you will obtain another Crumbled Clue Scroll.

Put on your Charged Fire Amulet to read the clue. "Your next clue to the treasure lies at 10 degrees, 1 minutes north and 37 degrees, 37 minutes east."

That will eventually lead you outside the walls of Port Phasmatys, on the border of the Haunted Woods.

9. Once you have found your location, dig and some more friends have come to join you!

A level 100 Cult member AND a level 150 Saradomin Mage that poisons! Both use magic (and the Saradomin Mage will also melee), so use Protect from Magic prayer.

10. Once you have killed both of your friends, dig again and a level 200 Fiyre Thief will pop up. He will walk up and talk to you.
______

Thief: "Please do not dig in this spot. It is a dangerous place to dig."

You: "Excuse me, but I am looking for a certain object. I have done things I REALLY regret doing for the past couple of days now and I can't handle anymore combat and stress!"

Thief: "Then be on your way!"

You: "Look, I killed five other Thieves, do I have to end your ethereal life, or comply peacefully?"

Thief: "Violence and compromise only causes more stress. Now please go."

You: "Ok, but I have a question."

Thief: "Make it quick."

You: "What is the Sixth Fiyre doing here??"

Thief: "That information is classified. I will report you to the Vyrewatch if you cause any more annoyances. Good day."
________

11. Now you have two options: prepare for a battle with a level 345 Vyrewatch and a level 200 Fiyre Thief, or fight them unprepared (if you haven't already prepared).

Luckily, there is a bank in Port Phasmatys (but you need your Ghostspeak Amulet and 2 ecto-tokens if you haven't completed Ghosts Ahoy quest).

12. Dig once more, even though the Thief said not to. He will reappear and talk to you.
____

Thief: "What is with your greed adventurer?? The items below are too sacred for your mortal hands!"

You: "I'm not doing it for the sake of greed! I am trying to save Gielinor from total annihilation by Gielinor's Fiyre!"

Thief: "HA HA HA! You mortals are so funny!"

You: "I'm not being funny! I am being serious!"

Thief: "HA HA HA HA HA HA Right... Wimp."

You: "Look! I just have a question for you!"

Thief: "I thought I told you to stop asking me foolish questions! Guards!"

You: "What?"
-----

*CUTSCENE*

The Thief uses a spell. Then, a level 345 Vyrewatch flies to the scene.

She will talk to the Thief.

Vyrewatch: "Why have you summoned me? I thought Drakan's stash was under control!"

Thief: "Yes it was until this dumb mortal-"

You: "Hey!"

Thief: "This dumb mortal somehow discovered the location to the treasure!"

Vyrewatch: "Ah yes, I will take care of this insolent fool."

*The Vyrewatch flies over to you.*

You: "Now, don't be so belligerent..."

Vyrewatch: "Oh I will... trust me!"

Thief: "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA (your name) is going to get killed! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!"

You: "Hey!"

Vyrewatch: "Prepare to die!"
_______

The Vyrewatch will start attacking you as you finish the last line of text.

You can only fight the Vyrewatch with your Ivandis Flail. The Vyrewatch is
exactly as hard as the one you had to fight in Legacy of Seergaze
Quest. (But you probably killed a lower-leveled one like I did.)

Once you have killed it, (I know that must have taken forever!) the cutscene is over.
------

13. The Vyrewatch will drop a corpse. Pick it up (this step is recommended if you want a neat-o reward which I will describe later).

14. Talk to the Thief.
______

You: "So now who is the wimpy mortal?"

Thief: "I have no shame. I guess I'll have to kill you myself."
______

The Thief will attack you, so kill him.

15. Once he is dead, dig in the location where the clue scroll told you. You won't have enemies attack you, you will have the loot, which you should dig up to receive.

16. Pick lock the chest open using the same principles as the chest before, but this time, you will be rewarded with: 50 Dragon Bolts, 100 Chaos Runes, 50k gp, and most importantly, the Fiyre Shield OR The Fiyre Infini-Arrows (depends on what fighting style of armour and weapons you choose).

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - Fiyre #6 - 7, Epilouge, and Rewards

Post by Dragon78114 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:39 pm

==#^_> VII. The Fiyre Sword or the Fiyre Bow <_^#==

The Seventh Fiyre (and last, HUZZAH!) you will be searching for is the Fiyre Sword (for melee), or the Fiyre Bow (for range).

Q&A (Read it; it explains a lot and will help you prepare)

Q: Should I bring items to help me along with the quest?
Yes, you should bring your Amulet of Eternal Fiyre, and a spade. GOOD FOOD AND ARMOUR ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Q: What fights will I encounter?

A: A level 200 Fiyre Thief, 6 Cult members, and a level 400 Giant Demonic Doll.

--------------------------------------------------------------

1. Feel your Demonically Enchanted Key and it will eventually lead you to the entrance for the Gielinor's Fiyre cult! This is a secret place and only can be accessed if you go in the swamp west of Jorral's house and dig. (It is in a random location for everyone, but still lies in the same vicinity.)

You will know when you found your spot when 2 cult members will pop out of nowhere and start attacking you. Kill them both.

2. Once you have rid of their annoying selves, dig one more time, and a message in your chat interface saying, "There is a very tight hole in the ground, but is barley wide enough for you to squeeze through. Would you like to enter the hole?"
---
You will then have two options in your chat interface, "Yes" or "No".

"Yes," will progress the quest, and "No," will allow you time to prepare for the various fights ahead of you.

---

Your character will try and squeeze through. It is rather funny to look at.

Well, once your character has successfully made it under the surface, the screen will go black.

A message appears in the middle of the screen "Hours later of struggling through the rabbit-sized hole..."

*Cut scene*

The screen will fade from black to you squeezing through a hole that used to be a door.

Then, the camera will pan to three cult members conversing.

Cult Member 1: "Man, do I ever want to get the chance to see A REAL god once the ceremony is complete!"

Cult Member 3: "Yup! We might even meet Guthix!"

Cult Member 2: "Or Saradomin, or Zamorak, or Armadyl, or Bandos, or Zaros, or Seren, or Scabraas, or, or, or, or-"

Cult Member 1: "Hold that thought... I think I hear something!"

Then all three cult members notice you as you inch your last inches out of the hole.

*End cutscene*

3. Kill all three members. They will drop their regular stuff as usual. BUT.... One of them will drop a Gielinor's Fiyre Uniform!

4. Pick up the clothes (if you want to) and carry on as if you were going to the Ceremony Room. But this time, take the other route.

It will eventually lead you in the sleeping chambers and mess hall. The room is littered with various kinds of foods, chairs, beds, and tables. There is one cult member in the room. Kill him... One more cult member to go!!

5. Now head north, you can take the food there. Most of it is junk like cabbage, tuna(), shrimp, various Gnomish delights, regular beer, and other various, low-leveled foods. So it is not recommended, although there is a rare chance you might get a couple of Monkfish, Sharks, or Manta Rays.

Head north into a room with a large cauldron with something vile bubbling in
it. On the north wall, there is a 'Mysterious Peep Hole'.

Make sure you have OVER 60 Hp left before you do this, or you WILL DIE.

Click on it, and...

*Cutscene*
----------

The screen will fade to black, then fading from black, showing the Ceremony Room with a huge black-colored hole in the middle of the room.

Then, the camera will snap back to you. Then, the camera will pan to a single cult member running through the mess hall with an Abyssal Whip. He will run to you in the room, will use the special on you. You can't move and will be dealt 30 damage. He will then pickpocket you, stealing your
Demonically Enchanted Key. Thus making little lightning bolts literally zap out of you, causing another 30 damage.

Then the cult member will throw the doll in the cauldron. The camera will pan to the cauldron which is now surging with magical energies and will start to shake. Also, it makes him fly into the wall; making a nice little implant in the wall.

Then you will make a comment:
_____
You: "Oh dear, this looks like it is about to explode, I gotta get out of here!"
_____
-----
*End Cutscene*

Hint:
RUN TO THE ENTRANCE HALLWAY! You will have a little timer on the top right corner telling you how much time you have before the cauldron explodes.

Once you run all the way back to the entrance hallway (the room where you came in from)...

*Cutscene*
----

The camera will quickly pan to the hallway where there will be a large rumble, and a large blast of red light.

----
*End Cutscene*

The timer will be gone.

Travel back to the room with the cauldron, and unfortunately, the room will be completely burned, filled with the item, "ash," and the rock walls are all blackened.

Go into the room with the cauldron, and there will be a proper entrance into the Ceremony Room with the weird portal thingy.

6. Try to pick up your Demonically Enchanted Key that is on the ground, but the Demonic Doll will float into the hole thingy.

Then, a Giant, level 400 Giant Demonic Doll emerges from the hole.

DO NOT ATTACK IT! If you do, it will get mad and kill you. No matter what prayers, armour, or hp you have, one hit is all it takes to send you to your grave.

7. Walk around it and pray at the altar at the end of the room.

A message in your chat box will say, "You feel blessed as the power of Zamorak tunes your mind, body, and soul. You may use his powers for this time only, but only the most Pious and the Eternal may use it."

8. Wear your Charged Amulet of Eternal Fire, and turn the 'Piety' prayer on. In the Combat choosing section of your inventory, click the 'Special Attack.' There will be an extra bar for the amulet (if you aren't already wielding a weapon that has special attack).

9. Now you may kill the Giant Demonic Doll

Once you attack it...

*Cutscene*
-----

As you hit the Doll, you will send your soul into the Doll. Causing it to spew energy out and twitch much like the Hp Cape emote. But then, its magic energy quickly drains out, the room will glow a very light blue (if not white) light and will eventually fade into ash, a Demonic Doll,
and the Enchanted Key.

And your soul will go back into your body.

You will then make a comment:

You: "Did I JUST do that???"
-----

*End cutscene*
10. Pick up the Enchanted Key and the Demonic Doll. This time, the Demonic Doll won't sap your magical abilities anymore! YAY!

Oh by the way, the black hole thing is gone and in its place, is the final Fiyre!!

11. Like usual, pick it up. You will be interrupted by the Thief.
_______

Thief: "Are you a Cult member or not?"

You: "No, I am the mighty crusader who killed every cult member in this damned cult."

Thief: "Finally someone who isn't part of Gielinor's Fiyre! What are you doing here?"

You: "Searching for the Seventh Fiyre. What are you dong here?"

Thief: "Great question, I came here originally because this chamber has been empty for the longest of times."

You: "Really?"

Thief: "Yes, Gielinor's Fiyre only occupied this cave when Razz Elbein was on an unsuccessful pilgrimage. He was low on supplies, starving, on the brink of death until he discovered this cave by accidentally tripping over a rock. In the corner of his eye, he noticed a small cave to the
west and went inside that was pulsating energy as. Inside there was about twelve altars pointing to each god. He interpreted this as a sign for all gods to live in harmony. Thus, gave him the inspiration to start the what was supposed to be a holy faction. Sadly, about 450
years ago, Razz Elbein died and the new leader he assigned made it unholy to the public. Alright, I told you the info, and you're ready to take the Fiyre, so now I must kill you."

You: "Wait, what?"
____

11. Kill the Thief.

12. Once you have killed him, take the Fiyre Sword OR Fiyre Bow (depending on which type you are searching for).

A trap will be triggered and you appear outside in the small swamp thing.

_____________
CONGRATS!!!

You can use Magic again, you have all Seven Fiyres, and you are nearly done with this quest!

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - Fiyre #6 - 7, Epilouge, and Rewards

Post by Dragon78114 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:56 pm

THE EPILOGUE
============
The events proceeding the Crusade for the Seven Fiyres.

1) Go back to Jorral and talk to him. You destroyed the armada of bosses, so don't gear up for combat.
_______
You: "Jorral, I have great news!"

Jorral: "Did you find the Fiyres?"

You: "Exactly!!!"

Jorral: "Can you please tell me of your adventures? I would really like to hear!"

You: "Ok, but I am warning you, I have done things I NEVER want to do again like sacrifice animals, kidnap people, kill people, be prejudice to people, hate others for their hard work, and be closed minded!"

Then there will be a message in your chat interface saying, "You explain to Jorral in detail your rather long journey."

Jorral: "WOW! And I thought you were wimp! Anyways, we have all the materials to begin this ritual!"

You: "Excuse me, but what?"

Jorral: "The ritual. You know... Calling upon a god and getting blessed and such."

You: "Oh yeah, that's right... So how will we do this?"

Jorral: "We will first need to find some place very serene to where we can draw out the sand encryption. Then, the person, which is you, will read out of the Ritual Book while wearing every Fiyre, and then a God will come through the clouds or something... I don't know, it is all left
unclear."

You: "Sounds menacing, but I'll try it. So, have any serene places in mind?"

Jorral: "Perhaps Lletya."

You: "Why Lletya?"

Jorral: "Have you not been there?? That place is possibly the most serene town in the whole of Runescape!"

You: "Makes sense. Do you have all the materials required? I am certainly NOT going to go across the four corners of the world again for some stupid items while fighting off more enemies than I have EVER seen in my life."

Jorral: "Well you are in luck, because during the entire time you were gone, I was searching the world for the items needed."

You: "Well that's great! Let's get this show on the road!"

Jorral: "Good thinking!"

The screen will fade to black and will say, "You and Jorral travel through Isafdar, getting lost a few times, and eventually find Lletya."

*CUTSCENE (don't worry, this is the second to last one)*

The screen will fade from black to a nice view of Lletya.

As you and Jorral walk to the center of town, Jorral will talk to you.

Jorral: "Well, here is our only shot."

You: "Why?"

Jorral: "If we fail, the gods will get annoyed at us mortals and will kill us both; they will resurrect the Fiyre Thieves and send them to re-steal the Fiyres. This ritual has only happened twice. All the other times were failed attempts and the people were erased from existence and history."

You: "That's comforting. How do you even know of this?"

Jorral: "It was listed in the ritual book in the Foreword. You silly adventurers only read what, 16 pages of all 200 pages?"

You: "Oh... Well, let's start this ritual! I REALLY want this quest over with as soon as possible!"

Jorral: "Ok, being inpatient won't solve anything. Here, help me with this..."

You: "Okay..."
___

After the conversation, the screen will once again turn to black and a message on the screen says, "Hours later, you finally get the ritual ready..."

The screen fades from black and reveals an intricate sand pattern around the central well. You will be in all seven Fiyres.

Jorral will talk to you once more.
_____

Jorral: Alright! We are ready! Just read from the book and the ritual will be complete!"

You: "Ok, here goes nothing..."
_____

You will then read the book aloud, and then the camera will go crazy, everything will go white, and the camera will settle down. The white light will fade to a cloud with a yellow light shining above it.

It will talk to you.
_____

Godly voice: "Hello mortal, why do you call my presence? Haven't your prayers been enough communication?"

You: "Wow... I'm talking to an actual god.... Um... Your Godliness sir, I went on a mighty crusade to search for the Holy Fiyres in protection of the world and to make sure evil would not summon the wrong God and destroy us all."

Godly voice: "So I see your Golden Deeds, you may keep the armor unless you go on a Pilgrimage to pray at most of all my altars scattered across Runescape. Your sins have ruined the
Holy Armour and Weapon. Please do not come back until you have served your Pilgrimage."

You: "Yes your Godliness. I will."
____
----

*end cutscene*

2) Go and pray at these ten altars of Saradomin in order. (You may teleport to these locations):

  1. Lumbridge
  2. Varrock
  3. Edgeville Monastery
  4. The Temple overlooking the entrance to Morytania
  5. Entrana
  6. Port Sarim
  7. Seer's Village
  8. East Ardounge
  9. Ardounge Monastery
  10. West Ardounge

Each time you pray at an altar, you will loose 10 Prayer Points and your Thieving, Slayer, and Construction level will loose 10 levels (like level 50/90; not the actual level). At the last altar, you will wind up with -10 Prayer points, Thieving, Construction, and Slayer (-10/50) no matter what. They will drop to no less.

You will not be able to re-generate these points until after the quest.

You must ONLY pray at those altars listed below, or else Saradomin will make your prayer points to level -50, and will deal 20 damage you.

3) Once you have prayed at the last altar, you will be teleported back to Lletya where you will meet the Godly voice.
_____
Godly voice: "Congratulations (your name), your Pilgrimage proved successful! It was I who teleported you here. For those kind deeds, all of your sins are forgiven once more. You must now meet me in the afterlife if you have a question for thy god and your armour will no longer posses to contact the gods."

You: "Wait! NO! I can't die! I need answers!"

Godly voice: "I know what things you inquire, but they are not for mortal ears, but you will learn soon."

There will be another blue lightning strike that attacks you. Your stats will return back to normal, but this time you have 10 extra prayer points, but the amount of prayer points will NOT exceed 100.
____

4) Speak to Jorral.
____
You: "Did you not see any of that?!?! THAT WAS POINTLESS!"

Jorral: "No its not! Everything has its purpose, and now the gods don't hate you!"

You: "True..."

Jorral: "Um.. I have a question..."

You: "Yeah...?"

Jorral: "All this is so interesting, maybe this could keep my museum running until the day I die... Here have this grant request sent to King Lathas. I am sure he would give a grant sent to my museum."

A message in your chat interface says, "Jorral gives you the Grant Request."

You: "Ok, this is simple... I hope."
_______

5) Now head over to East Ardounge Castle (you can teleport now) and go to King Lathas.

6) Speak to the king.
_____

You: "Hello m'lord."

King: "What do you need me for? I have nothing for you to do and I am rather busy."

You: "This is urgent!"

King: "Really? What do you need?"

You: "YES! Jorral would like a grant sent to his museum because we have unlocked pretty much half of the history of the second age, and we need research on it more!"

King: "Really? Give me your grant request. This is rather unbelievable."

You: "Here it is your highness."

A message in you chat interface says, "You hand the Grant request to King Lathas."

King: "Hm... Interesting. I approve."

You: "Thank you!"

Kind: "Now be off, I have a meeting I have to attend to."
______

7) Head back to Jorral (he is back at the Outpost), and talk to him.
_____

You: "How did you get here that fast...?"

Jorral: "I teleported of course."

You: "Well the King approved the grant request!"

Jorral: "Great! You know, I think you still have one more person to talk to..."

You: "Oh... You're right! I need to contact Sevant!"

Jorral: "Alright, bye!"
_____

8. Grab your CommOrb V3, and contact Savant.
____

Savant: "(your name), I have been waiting for your updates on the quest for ages!! Where were you...?"

You: "Sorry, I was wrapped up in very intense action."

Savant: "That is alright, so PLEASE tell me in detail what happened! All of it!"

A message in your chat interface says, "You take a *very* long time to explain what had happened and all the history involved in the quest."

You: "...And now with that grant, Jorral and I will find out more about these topics! -That's it!"

Savant: "Oh... my... SARADOMIN! THANK YOU!! You really don't realize how many secrets unlocked and mysteries added to the world!!! Thanks so much!!! I can never repay you!"

You: "Why thank you, it is all in a day's work."

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - Fiyre #6 - 7, Epilouge, and Rewards

Post by Dragon78114 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 11:08 pm

REWARDS

----------

Congratulations! You have completed Gielinor's Fiyre!
You have been awarded:

- 6 Quest Points
- 30,000 Defense XP and Prayer XP
- 20,000 Agility XP and Hitpoints XP
- 10,000 Crafting XP and 10,000 Thieving XP
- 8,000 Hunter, Summoning, and Herblore XP

- A Demonic Doll to aid you in combat.
- Level 4 Clue Scrolls
- The Fiyre Armour and weapons
- A secret reward from the Vyrewatch you killed...

Total Quest Points: ?

---------------
[Total XP gained is LESS than While Guthix Sleeps.]
---------------

If you take the Vyrewatch to the Columbarium, and burn it using teak logs+, it will give you a key for one of the drawers in the place AND Drakan's Journal Page which explains why the Sixth Fiyre Thief was in Port Phasmatys, and not in Olaf's Cave. Mainly because Drakan rose to power by first stealing the Fiyre as a humble adventurer and harnessing its godly powers to give him the initiative to help take over Morytania.*

The Demonic Doll is a rather powerful combat helper. If you throw it, it will zap magical energies and damage (from 20-50hp) on another player (only in PvP worlds or single-way combat
mini-games) and will immediately teleport back in your inventory (hits through prayers). It will also absorb all magical attacks that are directed towards you by 50%, and will remove the added effect.

However, the doll only can be used 30 times until it has to be recharged, you will have to go on another pilgrimage if you want to re-charge it, or pay Jorral 20,000gp. Absorbing the magical attacks and the special affect created by the spell counts as a charge.

-----Footnotes------
*Jagex, you can edit ANY of the history I said in this quest- I just thought of something.

-------
THE INFO
-------

Alright first off, I will describe what each Fiyre does to you. (In list form
because it is easier and I am really lazy right now )

-Since this armour was created to honor a god (not specifics), the creators decided it was for all the gods. Thus, causing offense to many of the gods, and now it has a negative prayer effect and is burdened with extreme weight.

- Beats most armour and weapons with stats. This will become a fad; no doubt.

- You may only pray at altars of Saradomin, Guthix, or Zamorak when wearing any Fiyre. Otherwise, the gods will smite you, and be dealt 5hp with no prayer points re-generated.

- This armour is untradeable because this is HOLY ARMOUR! You can't just sell ancient, holy armour!

- Like all other fancy and old armour, it will degrade... Slower than the Crystal Shield and Barrows armour. Luckily, you can pay Bob in Lumbridge 100k gp if your armour is at 0%, whereas if your equipment is at 99%, you will have to pay Bob 1k gp. You can find out how it is doing by examining it.

By the way, if your armour is at 0%, you cannot wear it.

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - Fiyre #6 - 7, Epilouge, and Rewards

Post by Dragon78114 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 11:25 pm

Spoiler:
I. Fiyre Helm and Coif

This helmet bumps up your Runecrafting and Crafting levels by two temporarily, if operated in the equipment stats. But, it reduces your Attack by one.

This boost WILL NOT count for doing quests, like temporarily raising your level to
start a quest with a high requirement. This applies for all of the Fiyres.
---

---
II. Fiyre Platebody

This will temporarily bump your Defense and Attack up two levels, while lowering your Strength level by 2.
---

---
III. The Fiyre Platelegs

This will temporarily bump your Thieving, Magic, and Strength up by three levels, while lowering your maximum Hitpoints and Attack by two levels.

IV, V. Fiyre Boots and Gloves.

This will cause your run energy to temporarily jump up to 120% and your Agility and Magic
up three levels, while reducing your maximum Hitpoints by one point.

V. Fiyre Shield | Infini-Arrows

-
The shield's special is a 'Crumble Undead' spell without runes, or the
spell 'Slayer Dart' (if you have done Smoking Kills and 55 Slayer).

Both spells will take up only half of the Special Attack Meter

-
The Arrows will have a special attack that the bows will become made of flames and will damage your opponent 1.5 times more damage.

The special attack will take up only half of the Special Attack Meter
---

---
VII. Fiyre Sword | Fiyre Bow

- The Fiyre Sword's Special only works if you are wielding the Fiyre Shield.

You will do a circular attack upward (like in the attack skillcape emote) and jam your opponent in the face.

This will cause 2.5 times more damage than normal and you will hit less.

This special attack takes up 3/4 of your Special Attack bar.

- The Fiyre Bow has two specials: One with Infini-Arrows, and one with any other kind of arrow.

The special with the Infini-Arrows will have a special that will hit you opponent 5 times. Each time hitting over 5 damage. (Note that if you use the arrow's special with it, it can get pretty dangerous.)

The special attack without the Infini-Arrows, is an attack that takes 5 arrows, and each will hit no lower than three.

This special will take up 3/4 of the special attack meter.
---

Great! Now it is time for the description

All the armour looks sinisterly cool!

They kind-of look like 3rd-Age, but with gold trimmed and a fancy gold design on a white surface. In the center of each object, there is a small blue area with gold encrypted over each part.

In some areas, the gold is lined with rubies, but not all areas!

The helmet isn't like a full helmet. It is kinda like a modern medium helmet mixed with a 3rd age helmet, but no part covering the top of the head.

The platebody and platelegs are big and chunky, while the ranger legs and body are light and movable (appearance-wise).

The gloves and boots are exactly the same: elegant yet cumbersome, and somewhat chunky.

The sword and shield are big and beautiful. The shield kinda is a mix between a spirit shield and 3rd Age Shield, and the sword is like a mix between a small Godsword and Keris.

The bow is rather menacing with an elegant yet creepy design. Its like a white dark bow
without the teeth mixed with a yew comp bow.

The arrows have a reddish, ethereal body, the base of the arrowhead is white, while the
tip is gold, the feather at and the end is blue.

Those are all Seven Fiyres!

Level 4 Clue Scrolls
++++++++++++

These are extremely hard clue scrolls that will take you farther, make you do even harder tasks, harder riddles and math problems to solve, and more!

Spoiler:
Alright, the first thing I might want to say is a list of possible skill and quests you might want to have completed before attempting these clues or to bask properly in the rewards:

SKILLS/COMBAT:
- Able to kill level 100 Zamorak Mage (for Wilderness clues only)
- Able to kill level 150 Saradomin Mage (for map clues anywhere outside of the Wilderness)
- Able to kill two level 115 Uri's (emote clues only)
- Able to kill other high-leveled monsters
- 70 Defense
- 70 Strength
- 70 Attack
- 60 Prayer
- 51-90 Slayer

QUESTS:
- A Quest Cape.

-----

Now the stupid requirements are out of the way...
And I bet you are wondering, "Holy moly... Why would I want to do any of that for a stupid clue??"

The answer is....

*drum roll*

Dragon armour and weapons as the Rewards of course...and of course a healthy
amount of other neat-o rewards! (except for the platebody and full square shield)

Alright now I got that out of the way, I can explain how the clues can get harder, AND I will introduce a new clue...

- The Map Clues

As you learned from experience in level three clue scrolls, that if you dig anywhere outside of the Wilderness you will be attacked by a level 100 Saradomin Mage. You will be attacked by one that leveled 150; exactly like in the Gielinor's Fiyre Quest (this applies also to Coordinate Clues).

Just like in Gielinor's Fiyre quest, you were attacked by the level 100 Zamorak Priest, you will be attacked if you dig/do whatever the clue tells you to do in the correct spot, if you are in the Wilderness.

But here is a twist, a few, if not a lot of the map clues will bring you to a place that looks too common, or it has very little landmarks. Also, the maps are colorless due to their old age...

- The Coordinate Clues

Just like the Map Clues, you will get attacked by the level 150 Saradomin Mage or
the level 100 Zamorak Mage. They will also lead you to almost impossible-to-reach areas, or really secluded areas.

You will still need a watch, chart, sextant, and a spade to dig up the casket containing your treasure or next clue...

- The Emote Clues

These are sick just like the level 3 ones, but sicker.

These can tell you to perform a skill cape emote (anyone, I'm not that mean), a random event emote, or the Goblin Emotes, in rather inconvenient places (like the part of the Underground Pass on the grid you had to pass- and on the proper grid square, or the part of the underground pass where you can fall off, and fall into the little dwarf village).

They will be written in code as well and you might even have to wear a random dragon
armour/weapon (including the full half-shield, full helm, and the platebody), a Bandos Godsword (none other), possibly God Armour, or various rewards from level 3 clues....

There will be three Uri's to deal with as well. Instead of two, and this time they are level 112.

- The Fight Clues

*This is a new clue! YAY!*

These are tough because it requires high level monsters to be slain in order to get the next clue.

If you do manage to kill the target, (it can range anywhere from Dust Devils to the KBD, or any super boss [oh, and if you are unlucky enough to get the KQ, you must kill her first form only])

NOTE: This is the least common clue. It will be impossible to have more than two of these clues in each game. You have to have lootshare off and you must have the last hit on the certain monster before dropping a casket containing your next clue or your reward.

- The Anagrams/Riddles

The utterly most annoying part your search. If you think level three clues are annoying, it just got more annoying.

More complicated riddles like, "This flower is a perfect for a date."

That is referring to the flowers you had to pick for the troll in Troll Romance, you will have to go on a sleigh ride through Trollweiss mountains, and pick one of these flowers, and then give it to Ug, who will have your next clue or reward waiting.

And the anagrams will become a random jumble of letters, rather than mixed-up syllables.
Also, all anagrams will lead to a challenge scroll.

- The Challenge Scrolls

*You will only get one if you get an anagram clue*

Once you find your NPC, like all others, you will get a challenge.

Now these problems are more complex (who is up for solving 3 variables in an equation, rearranging an equation in a way that makes it even, findiing a length of a side of a right triangle, or solving radical equations?).

OR the person will ask you to go and ask you rather vague questions like: How many crates minus the amount of trees are around here?

If I were you, I would AVOID these clues at all times... that is if you don't want a possible Dragon Armour reward...

Alrighty, now that is out of the way, you are probably thinking, "How in Hell am I supposed to get these insanely hard clues???"

Here is your answer: Thieving and Combat.

Here are the possible monsters that can drop such a clue...
- The Kalphite Queen
- Any Daggonoth King
- The King Black Dragon
- Steel and Mithril Dragons
- All slayer monsters that require level 75 or more Slayer (EXCEPT for the Spiritual Mages)
- Any God Wars Boss
- The Corporal Beast
- Scarab Mage, Ranger, or Lancer
- A Vyrewatch (level 200+ only)
- Suquah (rare)
More to be added...

And you can *rarely* thieve these clues from:
- Pickpocketing Elves
- Stealing from King Lathas's Chest

Now that you have gotten the monsters, here are the rules!

- If the monster already has a level 3 clue drop and its over level 200, after every 4th level 3 clue will be a level 4. If the monster is below level 200, then it will be after every six level 3 clues.

-If the monster DOESN'T already have a level three clue drop, it will drop a level four regardless and at the same rate as any other clue.

- If lootshare is on, then it is impossible to get a level 4 clue scroll.

- For the thieving, it will happen every 250th time you steal/pickpocket. So don't expect to get it quick.

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - Fiyre #6 - 7, Epilouge, and Rewards

Post by Dragon78114 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 11:49 pm

Spoiler:
Now the rewards!

Definitely worth the wait and the trouble of the *extremely* hard clues!

Like most clues, you will get Prayer Book Pages, Purple Sweets, Firelighters, Money, Runes, Various Foods, Armour, Weapons, Tools, and Fancy Clothes.

That is a possibility in these clues!

The purple sweets will average-out to be around 125 per game (if you get it as a reward).

For the cash, you will have about 30k average (if you get any)

There will be a healthy amount of Firelighters (like around 50 of a color) and even a new color to change your fires: Black!

The runes will be like 250 Natures or like 125 Astral Runes, 500 Cosmic... etc... A real-good amount, but the amounts of the runes get lower as the runes increase in power.

The food will be around 30 Sharks, 50 Swordfish, 15 Sea Turtles, 40 Monkfish etc... Just a random
amount of fish that is Swordfish and up, and note that the more powerful the food, the less of it you get. All are cooked.

The armour:

All forms of Dragon Armour, except for the Platebody, and the full square shield. You might get a shield half though.

Trimmed Black Dragonhide Armour

It has all the stats of regular black D-hide, but has an extra +5 to every attack stat and ranged strength.

Random piece of Barrows armour or weaponry; in perfect condition.

Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak Boots and Gloves*, they have the same styles as the Cozier, Stole, Cloak, Mitre, and Vestments. Each has a +8 Prayer Bonus and you need level 70 Prayer to wear.

Amulet of Fury(t), looks like a regular Amulet of Fury, but it is a triangle. Gold makes
up the rest of the triangle thing, with the actual amulet in the middle.

*Fancier adjectives will be nicer.

- Robin Hood Tights!

Yes! Green tights that match with a Robin Hat, Ranger Boots, and any Dragonhide Armour! It has the exact stats of Black Dragonhide legs. It requires level 50 Range and 40 Defense to wear.

Now its the weapons

- Abyssal Whip
- Dark Bow
- God Sword Shard, NO HILT!
- Any Dragon Weapon
- Any Barrows Weapon

The Tools:
- A Dragon Axe (lol that is it )
- A Dragon Pickaxe

Fancy 'Armour': *All will give a +5 bonus to all defensive stats, to they are more of like armour*

- A Dragon Cane
These things have a cool design with a dragonstone on the top of the cane but it only has a strength bonus of +21.

- Royal Costumes (red/gold, green/gold, blue/white, black/gold)

These are like Elegant costumes, but with gold or white trim embedded with
gems (ruby for red/gold, emerald for green/gold, sapphire for blue/white, and diamond for black/gold).

Wow... That is all I have to say about these clues....

Except good luck!
