Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
Hey guys, as you all know... This is my mega, ultra monster-quest that took over a month and a half to write! It is currently facing neglect, so I have decided to move it on over here!
You can actually see all of its comments, criticism, introduction, and TOC, by following this QFC on the RSOF- 80-81-821-58197596
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Please note that the requirements and reoccurring boss information will be listed in ever GF thread.
I am writing a prequel to this quest, it will be called 'The Demonic Doll' it is much, MUCH shorter than this giant, not any less cooler or challenging.
I have updated some of the rewards and requirements to better-fit the difficulty of this quest. Particularly in the 4th Fiyre. The rewards are MUCH more generous and I have made the requirements a little harder, due to recent quest releases, and the growth in levels among players and to better-match the difficulty of the quest, while keeping relatively challenging to reach that level.
Requirements:
These requirements are set high because the new armor will become a fad that EVERY person must have [its non-tradeable by the way], and the plot line is rather mature to the seven, eight, and nine-year-old children that play Runescape.
Along with the extremely tough things you will encounter throughout the entire quest, I might rank it: Grandmaster.
(It was originally supposed to be a Master quest, but, oh well.)
All requirements are needed to begin Gielinor's Fiyre because this quest digs right into the plot.
SKILLS:
~~~~~~~~~~~
QUESTS:
~~~~~~~~~~~
Other:
[Other notes]:
- This quest is almost a direct sequel to Demonic Purification quest, but it also could be interpreted as a Temple Knights sequel. I still believe this quest has its own plot, but relies on others.
- There has been a very slight confusion over the Rituals preformed in this quest.
These Rituals are not, I repeat, NOT direct interactions with a god.
- I left open the history part of the quest enough where it doesn't AFFECT the plot. In fact, you guys here, give me your fullest criticism! In fact, after DT2 this quest can be suject to the next group quest project to work on! XD
REOCCURRING BOSS INFORMATION
They have the defense of a level 40 person, but have mage, range, or strength/attack that fills up the difference. They are easy, annoying, and their attacks can easily be avoided with a simple protection prayer, unless when multiple cultists attacks you with different fighting styles...
All of the cultists will drop 5 cooked lobsters, and you cannot talk to them. They will spontaneously generate from hiding in groups of at least 1, 2, 3, or 4 cultists.
These guys will attack you if you pick up any Fiyre. They are the spirits that were condemned to a life of protecting their loot as a punishment of the Gods.
All will drain 1 prayer point from you with each hit, and will drain ALL of your stats (except Hp, which will only decline if you get hurt).
They can possibly poison you, and they have a special 'Recoil' effect (same principle as the Ring of Recoil, but you are the one getting the recoil damage for hitting your
opponent) will come randomly with each Thief.
They have a moderately high hp for their level (200hp) and they have a super high
defense, so watch out! All of them attack with god spells! (Flames of Zamorak, Claws of Guthix, or Saradomin Strike), but each thief uses a different spell.
You will require a Ghostspeak Amulet if you wish to talk to ANY of the Thieves. They will drop nothing.

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
=======================
THE PRELUDE
=======================
These are the events preceding the Crusade for the Seven Fiyres.
1)Talk to Sir Tiffy Cashien to start this quest.
_________________________
Tiffy: "Good day Proselyte, is there anything I can do for you?"
You: "Do you have something for me to do?"
Tiffy: "Why yes Proselyte, there has been two mysterious murders of civilians north of the Sinclair Mansion."
[He would will only say that if you have ALL of the requirements for the quest. If you don't have all of the requirements, he would say: "Sorry, but nothing has turned up lately.]
You: "*sigh* Is it another Sinclair...?"
Tiffy: "No, but we do have beliefs that the murders are similar. There has been an awful lot of murders happening in Seer's Village recently. No one is taking how serious this issue is, and this can wind up to be a major problem! You have to find out what is cause of this case."
You: "Alright. Will I need my ComOrb updated?"
Tiffy: "Yes! Please bring it back to me for reprogramming."
~~~~~~
After grabbing your CommOrb again....
~~~~~~
You: "Here it is Sir!"
*Sir Tiffy takes the CommOrb from you, then gives it back.*
2)Make your way to Camelot Castle (teleporting to Camelot is permitted). Then go to the front gates of the Sincliar Mansion, making a sharp, north turn around the west side of the Mansion. Go to the Agility log (cross it if you can, otherwise go around).
3)Head directly east until you find two people in green hoods, blue robe bottoms, and red robe tops on the ground.
There are two Iban Staffs lying on the ground near the bodies. Both have a read aura encircling it. DON'T pick up either staffs, or else you will get damaged 20 points, knocked back, and stunned for 15 seconds.
4) Walk up to the victim furthest to the south and search his body. In your chat box it will say, "You search the body." Then it says, "You find some coins." (44gp appears in your inventory for you to keep! Yay!
But you'll need it for later).
After that, it will say, "You find an old, tarnished book." An old, tarnished book appears in your inventory.
"You find an amulet." A 'ruby' amulet appears in your inventory. You can't wear the amulet or read the book due to a 'Mysterious Force.'
5)Contact Sevant from your new CommorbV3
______
If you don't have a CommOrb in your inventory, I'd suggest that you get it from your bank...
______
Savant: "Hello (your name). What can I do for you?"
You: "Savant, I need you to tell me any information on these items I found on the body."
Savant: "Um... Sure. I need to see those items before I can tell you anything though."
A message in your chat interface saying, "You show her the book and the amulet"
Savant: "Oh dear, not those..."
You: "What...?"
Savant: "This Amulet you have is the Amulet of Eternal Fire!"
You: "... The what?"
Savant: "Yes! This is a rare amulet! It holds the world together with the Abyss and Gielinor!"
You: "Really? Looks like an ordinary Ruby Amulet to me."
Savant: "What!? That is silly! They look very different! This is a very rare amulet! There is supposed to be only one left in the world!"
You: "Calm down! Why have I never heard of it before?"
Savant: "I won't calm down! It is a well kept secret of The Gods of Runescape, and if someone finds out about it, the whole of Runescape can be in danger!"
You: "Fine... I'll talk to you later when you clam down a bit."
Savant: "WAIT! NO!"
*ends conversation*
_____
If you try and contact her again, a message in your chat box will say, "Sevant is currently busy with another Temple Knight, and cannot talk to you."
Thus, you can't have conversation with her. Although, you will be able to contact her later.
______
6)Search the other victim. You will find the same objects as the other, including the cash.
Now you can contact Savant again
_______
Savant: "That was very rude (your name)! I had some very important information to share with you."
You: "Sorry Savant, you really needed to relax a bit. So please continue on what you were going to say."
Savant: "Thank you... The amulet you found is a link to the very fabric of existence! This amulet contains magic directly associated with the magic taken from the Abyss!"
You: "I had no idea.... Wait... Then why do I have two of these amulets?"
Savant: "What?"
"I found another of the same amulet."
"What?? That is preposterous!"
"Then here I'll show you both Amulets for proof!"
A message in your chat interface says, "You show Savant both Amulets; she is astonished."
"By the power of Saradomin, you're right, but how can this be?"
"I also found a magical book on the bodies that is worn, has no title, and won't open."
"Jorral might help you. He has a 'thing' with ancient objects."
"Alright"
"Contact me later once you have talked to him. Sevant out."

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
7)Travel to Jorral, he is the quest start for Making History and Meeting History quests. You may travel there anyway you'd like but an East Ardounge Teleport will help.
8)When you get to Jorral, talk to him.
__________
You: "Hey Jorral, I need you again for some help. And its not about those enchanted keys; I had enough testing lately with that thing to openly worship Zamorak!"
Jorral: "Then what do you need?"
"Glad you asked, I have found this old book on a body just north of the Sinclair Mansion. It looks like an artifact I thought that you might know about."
"Reldo is better at books than I am, but I will see what I can do. Lend me the book and I will examine it. Come back later when I am done."
_____________
*Jorral takes the book from your inventory.*
9) Wait about 2 minutes and come back to him.
_____________
Jorral: "(your name) do you not realize how important this document is??"
You: "Um... Not really..."
"*sigh* Adventurers today..."
"Hey!"
"Sorry, I'll continue. This book is the Lost Book of the Fiyres."
"Excuse me?"
"The legendary book of the myths of the Second Age!"
"Never heard of it. Sounds important."
"Sounds important?? THIS IS HISTORY!! Now please tell me, where did you find this book!"
"Like i said, off of a murdered body north of the Sinclair Mansion."
"Take me there please!"
-------
You have 2 suggestions now: "Okay" and "Later"
Saying "Okay" will make Jorral follow you. Saying "Later" allows time for you to prepare
-------
10)Now WALK to the crime scene. Though you may run. Teleporting will cause Jorral to go back home and you will have to go back to his place and get him to follow you again.
11)You might want to get a Ghostspeak amulet, weapon, and armor; food if necessary.
Once you have arrived at the crime scene with Jorral, there will be a cutscene!
------
Jorral will walk up to you.
______
Jorral: "No this can't be... I thought they.... No..."
You: "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about a suicidal cult of martyrs! The Gielinor's Fiyre Cult!"
"Oh, sorry, this is all new to me. How do you even know about this cult?"
"Reasons. Anyway, this is going to require more thought than was intended."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean this cult has been worshiping these non-existent 'Fiyres' and every god that had ever came into existence since the middle of the Fourth Age!"
"And how do you this information?"
"Like I said, reasons. Now, continuing from-"
_________
Two spirits that are an exact replica of the bodies of the two murdered people raise out of their corpses. Both ghosts will walk up to you and Jorral.
_________
Martyr Spirit: "Go away! You are defiling our ritual! Hand over the tools so we may proceed, or else we will have to wait another 150 years!"
You: "What is this ritual?"
Jorral: "(your name), I don't think this is a good time to be questioning their authority!"
You: "Yeah right! I need to know!"
Jorral: "No you don't...."
Martyr Spirit, "Please give us our tools back, or we will take it by force!"
You: "I need to know what will happen before I can give the Amulet and the Book back first!"
"As you wish. Every 150 years, the Alignment Ritual has taken place, and this location is the Holy Spot. If you die here at this location, you will have a Holy Encounter with Saradomin!"
"But how?"
"We seek the Amulet of Eternal Fire. It is the only thing that is holy enough to have the power to contact the Gods! Now give back the Amulet so we can preform the ritual!"
You: "I don't trust you enough to give you the Amulet."
Martyr^ Spirit: "Then I must take it by force!'
______
Both Martyr Spirits will attack you. Both of them are an easy foe. Don't let them being level 80 scare you. They have a low defense and each spirit has around 50hp. Before they have less than 10hp, one spirit will cast a spell freezing you and causes 22 Damage. The other will cast another spell on you, stealing both books and Amulets.
Both martyr spirits will then pick up their Iban Staffs and start chanting the words for their ritual.
_____
Martyr Spirits: "Ignus Matar! Ignus Matar!"
_____
Then there will be a sudden white light shining above the martyrs.
A mysterious voice echos from the background.
______
Voice: "Who dares to wake my peaceful sleep?"
Martyr Spirit: "Its is us your godliness! Two pious martyrs who have ended
their lives to practice this very ritual! We seek the truth! We need deliverance from our sins!"
Voice: "To forgive your sins, you shall wait. Sit for 150 years in constant meditation and you will ascend to Heaven!"
Martyr: "Yes heavenly father, we will obey!"
_______
The light quickly fades from the ritual. One martyr spirit just sits on the ground without question and the other continues walking about.
*END OF CUTSCENE*
--------
12)Walk over to the martyr spirit that isn't sitting down and talk to him.
______
Martyr spirit: "Why must Saradomin do this to us? We have wasted our lives committing suicide and joining this damn cult!!"
You: "Calm down... everything is alright... (slight pause) Wait.... Can you please back up again, to the part about suicide."
"We killed ourselves for the ritual. What is the problem with that?"
"What??? But how??"
"We killed ourselves with the magic from the staff that we used."
"Oh... Excuse me for a second..."
_____
13)Walk ten squares away from the Martyr Spirit in any direction. Contact Savant.
If you are any closer, you will be unable contact Savant due to 'massive amounts of supernatural energies.'
______
Savant: "Hello (your name), have you found any more information on the book you found on the bodies?"
You: "Not really, I had the book until some spirits of martyrs stole the Amulets and books for a ritual to summon Saradomin. Both of the martyrs are in a cult too."
Savant: "Oh dear, this is serious. Do you know the cult's name?"
You: "Yes. I believe its called Gielinor's Fiyre."
Savant: "Oh no, not them again."
You: "What's wrong?"
Savant: "Every 150 years they come out of hiding and it's members commit a mass suicide in different spots every time they have their ritual. Thus, meaning that you have accidentally stumbled upon the next location where the REAL ritual is to take place!"
You: "Wait... What?"
Savant:
"According to our records, exactly one week before the mass suicide, all the cultists gather to prepare for this ritual! There are over 25 cult members today! We've got to stop this before it is too late! Please! You have to find a way of preventing this horrible happening!"
You: "How do you plan on doing this?"
Savant: "Go and ask Jorral if he knows anything! I'm sure he does!"
__________
14)Go talk to Jorral.
_______
You: "Hey Jorral, got any information on how we can solve this mass suicide before it happens?"
Jorral: "Possibly, but I won't tell you."
You: "What if I..."
--------
You have two options to choose from:
"Persuade by bribe," or "Persuade by force."
If you persuade by bribe, you have to give him the 88gp you got off of martyrs' body.
It is highly recommended that you bribe him because if you "Persuade by force," you will have to fight Jorral until he has 20hp left. He will also reveal he is level 120, can resist ALL attacks by 50%, and can hit up to 35 frequently, ignoring armour and prayer until he will tell you the information you want.
-----
_____
Jorral: "Fine, I'll tell you. The only way to stop Gielinor's Fiyre is taking out their leader, Kiner-Otan Pailious and ALL of the members of the cult!"
You: "...And you do you expect me do that?"
Jorral: "Join the cult, act like a regular cult member, and when the time is right; kill them."
You: "How do I join?"
Jorral: "Take the Book of the Seven Fiyres and bring it to their recruiting location. They'll gladly accept you."
You: "How do you know all of this...?"
Jorral: "EVERYONE HAS A PAST AND SOME AREN'T PROUD OF IT!"
You: "Oh, sorry."
Jorral: "Anyways, their recruiting location is unknown, as they change with every new Ritual."
You: "Well thanks for the help."
Jorral:
"I'll have to go back to my house for researching more on archaeology right now. I have been too long away from my studies. Come to me when you need me. Okay?"
You: "Alright, have fun."
Jorral: "'Bye!"
______
*Jorral walks away*
8)When you get to Jorral, talk to him.
__________
You: "Hey Jorral, I need you again for some help. And its not about those enchanted keys; I had enough testing lately with that thing to openly worship Zamorak!"

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
16) Talk to the martyr spirit who ignored the voice.
_______
Martyr Spirit: "I cannot believe I did this! I am such a sinful person, and for this I will be dammed by the Gods!"
You: "Calm down.... It's alight..."
Martyr
Spirit: "No its not! You don't understand! Suicide is not what Saradomin intended! I have committed such a horrible sin..."
You: (silence)
Martyr Spirit: "My life has been a spiral of bad luck to now this! WHY!?!?"
You: "Sorry."
Martyr Spirit: "Don't be. It's not your fault."
You: "Is there anything I can do for you?"
Martyr Spirit: "Yes- my stuffed doll from when I was a child- it was like it has a soul imbued in it. It comforted me so much during times of hardship... Please, bring it to me! I feel like I'll crumbe into an oblivion soon! I will give you all that I have on me! The Amulet, the book!"
You: "Alright, I'll help!"
Martyr Spirit: Great! I think it is somewhere in my old house that is now abandoned, almost directly west of Yanille. I have lost the key many years ago so you might need to find an alternative way in the house."
_____
17)Go to Yanille, and once there, go to the western gate, and walk directly
west, past the ogres until you see a shack on the water looking out to
Castle Wars.
18) Walk around to the front door. There is a 'Pick lock door' option if you right-click it. YOU WILL NEED A LOCK PICK. Otherwise you will fail and be damaged 15hp. If you fail and have a lock pick you will loose that lock pick and be damaged up to 10 points. So it is necessary to bring multiple lock picks and food.
19) Once you eventually pick lock the door open, the house will reveal something completely opposite of what you could view from the outside (if you moved the camera over the building, it would reveal a house full of really poor stuff like rickety crates, boxes, and barrels all over, a cheap bed, a tattered rug, Zamorakian Symbols sloppily painted on the walls, and many broken windows).
20) Search everything in the room (it will be random for every person) until it reveals a trapdoor.
21) You have to pick lock the trapdoor by right-clicking it. [The same rule applies to the lock picking the front door.]
Once you succeed, the room will flash back into the original way before you entered.
A message in your chat box will say, "A magical force has been disrupted. The trap door had locked itself."
22) Now you have to pick lock it twice in a row. But this time should you fail, you will be hit 15hp worth of damage instead of 10.
23) After you pass it, you will enter a room LITTERED with about 25 chests, suitcases, barrels, and one bookcase. To search each one, you need to pick lock it, except for the bookcase! However, the damage for failure is 2, but there are a lot of things to loot.
Once you start looting the chests you will get these items in order (a separate item in each random container): "Gielinor's Fiyre", "A Mysterious Key", and then "Jean's Demonic Doll".
23) Once you have all the items, search the bookcase in the room. It will have a trapdoor behind it. You can't pick it. You will have to open it with the "A Mysterious Key" you found.
Then you'll appear behind his shack and the key will disintegrate.
24) Travel back to the martyr spirit. But you CANNOT use magic and you will not be able to remove it from your inventory due to "0the doll's magic is sapping your magical will." Although, you can run, or by using other forms of transportation that DOES NOT INVOLVE TELEPORTING.
25) Once you get to the martyr, go talk to him.
________
Martyr Spirit: "Did you bring my doll?"
You: "Yes, here is your doll!"
Martyr spirit: "You got it?? YOU GOT IT??? THANK YOU MY FRIEND!"
A message in your chat interface says, "The martyr spirit takes the doll from you."
You will get damaged 20hp.
Martyr Spirit: "You can keep everything you found in that of house of mine and here, have this book and amulet. I do not need them anymore now that I am dead."
A message in your chat interface says, "The spirit gives you the Amulet of Eternal Fire and the Tattered Book."
"Now be off... I need peace!"

----------
Immediately
after you click "continue" in your chat interface, the screen darkens, then lightens up again. This time it shows you not there; just the spirit all alone.
He picks up the doll and holds it apart from him. In the air, he hugs it tight and then light blue sparks engulf his body and the spirit evaporates leaving only the demonic doll on the ground. Then the demonic doll teleports itself away.
The screen fades to black, revealing your character outside of Seer's Village Bank.

26) Contact Savant with your Commorb.
Savant: "Hello (your name), found anything new?"
You: "Um... Yes quite a lot of things."

A message appears in your chat interface saying, "You tell Savant all of your discoveries."
Savant: "Oh My Saradomin!!! (Your name) you need to read both books to find out where you have to join! Otherwise the whole of Runescape can be in danger!"
You: "But I told you, both books won't open!"
Savant: "I know! Get creative! ...And fast! Contact me again on what both books say, until then, Savant out."
________
27) Grab a chisel from the bank (if you have one there) and use it on the Amulet of Eternal Fire to carve out the Fire Ruby from the amulet. The ruby disintegrates once you click on it, but the other part doesn't. You will get a 'Gold Frame.'
28) Use the gold frame on the tarnished book to unlock it.
29) Read it until you get to a page in the book where it has a "-----" placed randomly on a random page. Then quit reading the book and use your knife on the book; making it a "Destroyed Book," Then you will get a Fiyre key.
The book talks about the radical theories of Razz Elbein, the founder of the cult, Gielinor's Fiyre, and its purpose, its recruiting processes, and the Ritual.
30) Now you can drop the Gold Frame, but keep the Destroyed Book.
Use the Fiyre Key on the "Gielinor's Fiyre" book, and read it all. It is about the importance of the 7 Fiyres and a history of each one.

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
31) Contact Savant.
______
Savant: "Hello (your name), have you found a way to open the books?
You: Yes!"
Savant: "Great! Can you please tell me what you did and what did the books said?"
Then
another message comes up in the chat interface saying, "You tell Savant in detail the theories of both books, and what you did to open the books."
Savant: "This can't be happening! If the Fiyres aren't found, the world would crumble into an oblivion... This cant be true!"
You: "Well there is always a chance of finding them, right?"
Savant: "Yes, you need to go where ever this cult lies. Did the book give any secret code; did it tell you flat out the location of the cult?"
You: "It doesn't give a hint of the location of where I can be recruited!"
Savant: "Interesting," small pause of pondering, "Oh I know! There has been some strange activity south of the western bank in Varrock. I believe we should try that out. What do you think?"
You: "I guess I can give it a go."
Savant: "Great! Contact me if you need anything! Savant out."
_____________
32) Now is the time to put ALL of your items in your bank. Otherwise you might loose a lot of your stuff (except the runes for 1, "High Level Alchemy" spell.
Go to Varrock's West Bank and travel 3 buildings directly south of the building with the anvil.
33) Once inside, use a High Level Alchemy spell on anything inside the building. Instead of getting gold, you will get a guy named, "Wilson Fulson."
34) Talk to Wilson Fulson.
____________
Wilson: "Hello friend. What brings you to this awfully grim part of Varrock?"
You: "I'm in search to join a cult called, Gielinor's Fiyre."
Wilson: "Ah yes, well today is your luck day friend. I am the cult's recruiter. Would you like to join us? I do have to warn you that you will not come back from the cult unless your prophecy has been fulfilled and I will have to confiscate all of your items you are wearing and carrying. Now, do you want to join?"
~~~~
You will have 2 options, "Yes" and "No".
"Yes" Will make you join the cult and won't let you return until you have gotten far enough in the quest.
"No" will allow time for you to prepare.
~~~~
Wilson: "Congratulations, you are now a recruit to our group! But according to
Master's order's, I must remove all of your items you are carrying as it will defile our sanction."
You: "Alright!"
Wilson: "Follow me. I will lead you to the Fiyre."
_____
*CUTSCENE*
The screen fades to black with a message saying, "Wilson leads you to the cult's headquarters." Then the screen fades from black to a cave-like place where are tapestries lining the walls and people dressed in the same robes as the suicidal martyr spirits you confronted earlier.
*end cutscene*
________
35) You will have the robes the other cultists are wearing equipped on you and nothing else because you didn't bring anything. If you brought anything, it WILL be gone forever. Also, you cannot unequip your garb.
Talk to Wilson again.
________
Wilson: "Yes recruit, how I may I help you?"
You: "Is there any thing that I can do here... like any ceremonies of the sort..?
Wilson: "Yes of course recruit. Go to the initiation ceremony."
You: "Thanks."
_______
36) You should be in the large entrance room. There is a huge set of doors behind you (if you try to go through it, it won't let you and a message in your chat box will say, "Door is locked tight under a magical force"
.
Continue in the opposite direction (east) of the door until you get to the point where the tunnel thing forks into a door to the north, and a tunnel to the south.
37) Open the door and go inside.
You will be in the Ceremony Room. It is a demonic-looking room with the entire cult as the audience, and the there is one member preaching from a pedestal. He is the current cult Master, Kiner-Otan Plailious.
38) Take a seat on one of the benches on the very back row of the filled pews. Then his preachings will come up in your chat interface.
Kiner-Otan: "All of our Gods' blessings upon ye! Welcome back! As you all know the
Ritual will commence in seven days! We are making preparations for it
as we speak so everyone will not miss this sacred event.
"Now that I have gotten this news out of the way, I will now ask the congregation for any new recruits here. New recruits, please stand up."
*You stand up involuntarily and you are the only one standing*
You: "I am a new recruit!"
Kiner-Otan: "Well, welcome new recruit. Come up to the pedestal."
*You walk up to the pedestal without clicking anything*
Once you are up at the pedestal:
Kiner-Otan: "I am glad that you have decided to join our brethren. But you are
still a recruit; you need to pass our initiation test before being promoted to the rank of Brother (Sister if your character is female).
"For your initiation test, you must go to outside world and retrieve any kind of demonic doll. You may obtain it by any means necessary but you may not use any form of magic. Magic is the source for only the ones touched by a god. You may not come here unless you have the doll! So be gone!"
Kiner-Otan will teleport you out of the cult headquarters and to the the northeastern corner of the Wilderness with the volcano.
39) Now travel out of the wilderness WITHOUT teleporting, including the lever that teleports you to Ardounge.
You can die from a revenant; it won't cause harm because the respawn point is closer to your location, and you shouldn't loose anything. Dying and re-appearing in Camelot is much faster than traveling the entire wilderness along with the path to
Camelot...
Once you are in Camelot, head out to Jorral. Get your Enchanted Key from Jorral or any bank.
40) Talk to Jorral.
__________
You: "Jorral! I need help finding a demonic doll!"
Jorral: "Oh! A Demonic doll! I love them! Anyways, why do you need them?"
You: "I joined the Gielinor's Fiyre cult for investigations for the seven Fiyres of Gielinor."
Jorral: "Oh, well why do you need me?"
You: "You seem to know a lot about this subject and I need to find a demonic doll... fast!"
Jorral: "Hm... I don't know... I know! I'll program the Enchanted Key to help you search for one!"
You: "Alright here it is!"
A message in your chat interface says, "You give him the Enchanted Key."
Jorral: "Great! Give me a few minutes for me to program it."
-----
Wait about 10 seconds, and then talk to Jorral again.
-----
Jorral: "Here it is!"
______
41) Just like you did in the Meeting History and Making History quests, you felt the key to see if you were getting closer to your goal/treasure.
It will eventually lead to the shack where you broke into.
42) Go inside the house. This time the Enchanted Key opens the door. Yay!
43) Once inside, open the trapdoor, and the Enchanted Key will open it as well!
44) Once in the room with all the crates, suitcases, barrels, and the single bookcase. Search each create/suitcase/barrel. You don't have to pick lock them anymore, just use the Enchanted Key on each one you want to open.
Once you find the demonic doll....
_____
*CUTSCENE*
Little demons pop out of the furniture in the room! They are called "Middle Demons." All are level 44. You can either kill them or run. They have low hp, but super high defense. All they will drop are various amounts of runes and rune items. They respawn very quickly and are pointless to kill.
*end cutscene*
______
If you run, go over to the bookcase, and you will open the trapdoor with your enchanted key.
45) Now it is time to go back over to the cult. Put everything back in your bank except for your Demonic Doll and your robes.
Go over the place you where you met Wilson Fulson in Varrock. No teleporting!
______
Savant: "Hello (your name), have you found a way to open the books?
You: Yes!"
Savant: "Great! Can you please tell me what you did and what did the books said?"

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
46) Once you are in the building where you found Wilson, cast another high alchemy spell on anything in that building. Thus causing Wilson Fulson to appear.
He will talk to you.
_____
Wilson: "Hello recruit, found your demonic doll?"
You: "Yes! I have it right here!"
Wilson: Great! "Do you want to go back to the headquarters now?"
------
You will have a "Yes." and "No." option.
"Yes." will take you to the cult and you will not get out until you kill the Master later on in the quest.
"No." will allow you more time to do whatever you want.
-------
*CUTSCENE!*
The same exact cutscene when you first entered the cult.
*end cutscene*
______
47) Head back to the Ceremony Room. Only Kiner-Otan is there all alone reading a book. Talk to him.
______
Kiner-Otan: "Hello recruit, have you obtained the demonic doll I had asked you to get for me?"
You: "Yes... but the doll seems to mesmerize..."
Kiner-Otan: "Of course! It's a demonic doll, now hand over the doll!"
You: "I'm not too sure about it... It is very... very... mysterious..."
Kiner-Otan: "Give it to me!"
----
You have two selections to choose now, but you have 1 goal: to get rid o Kiner-Otan as fast as possible.
You can either, "Throw the doll at Kiner-Otan (recommended)," or "Push the doll onto Kiner-Otan's chest (not recommended)"
Throwing the doll at Kiner-Otan will kill him in one hit, due to the doll's power of draining the soul and physical body of the victim, if and only if the whole doll is touching the victim, although, you will get drained 5hp from standing near it.
Whereas pushing the doll onto Kiner-Otan will kill him but since the doll works
like electricity, you'll get damaged 70 hits and you have some major fighting up next.
-----
48) QUICKLY pick up all of his drops, including the demonic doll! The cultists will be back soon!
Kiner-Otan drops only 5 objects other than the demonic doll. They are, "Adamantite
Key," "Book of Rituals," "Kiner-Otan's Notes," and "Kiner-Otan's Research."
49) Now RUN! Walking will not count. Run quickly to the large doors that were previously locked. You can open it with your Adamantite Key.
If you didn't run you'll have 25, level 100 cult members maging, ranging, and meleeing you. It is also possible that you might die. If you die, you will have to talk to Jorall to get your doll back.
Once you come out of the big doors, you will be in a *very* small swamp-like-place directly west of the Arrandar entrance.
*Note*
You will be coming back to this place for the search for the Seventh Fiyre, so take note of this location. Also, don't drop any of the items dropped by Kiner-Otan- they will later be invaluable to the quest process.
If you think that you have escaped those 25 cult members... THINK AGAIN. They will be equally distributed for your ambush throughout the quest. So be careful...
50) Now read all three books that you have just recently stolen from Kiner-Otan.
-+Book of Rituals+-
This book explains all the rituals that
summons a particular God and what objects are needed to begin these rituals, and how to perform them. There is a section bookmarked detailing these rituals: "Zamorak's Touch," "Saradomin's Glory," or "Guthix's Revenge," and "Zarosian Conquest," All of the rituals listed calls for 1 Demonic Doll...
-+Kiner-Otan's Notes+-
This is a diary of some recent events going around in the cult. He makes reference to you as a, "tool for the ceremony," and a "sacrificial offering." This also indirectly explains his attitude towards some daily activities, and his positive attitude
towards the cult's beliefs.
-+Kiner-Otan's Research+-
This note describes his research: a Pressure Resistance Potion. It describes how it is made and what happens when taken. The potion will make your character able to be stand the pressure of an ocean!
-----
51) Once you have read all three texts, the first of 25, level 100 Cult Member will pop up and attack you. Kill him. He is fairly easy (with a simple protection from melee prayer that is).
52) Once the annoying member is dead, he will drop only 5 cooked lobsters and
nothing else. You can take them if you want, it really doesn't matter.
Head on out to Jorral and talk to him.
All you need to do is head a little east and then you will reach his home quickly.
_____
Jorral: "Hey, (your name), have you found anything new yet?"
You: "Other than the actual writings of Kiner-Otan, then no."
Jorral: "Well hand them over to me! I want this cult off the face of Gielinor forever!"
A message in your chat interface says, "Jorral removes them for your inventory."
"Hm.... Very interesting indeed..."
You: "Well... Have any ideas what this all means?"
Jorral: "Hush! Wait outside and leave me alone to study! Then come back!"
You: "Alright, alright!"
_______
53) Go outside the building, then suddenly, another cult member pops up!
She mages, so us the Protect From Magic prayer. She is as easy as the other cult member. They are just so annoying! (And they'll get more annoying when there will be more than 3 )
She will also drop 5 cooked lobsters.
54) Once the second cult member is slain, go back inside and talk to Jorral.
______
Jorral: "Well (your name), I need the books you found earlier to help examine what this all means! It is *very* complicated!"
You: "Okay, I'll be back!"
_______
55) Head out of Jorral's house and go to a bank. There won't be a cult member attacking you this time.
The closest bank is half-way in the Gnome Stronghold, directly east of all
the yew trees (you have to climb up some stairs to get to it).
Now is the time to stock up on food, armor, potions, etc for two cult members attacking you. DON'T forget about the Destroyed Book, and Gielinor's Fiyre.
56) Head back out to Jorral.
Once you click on his door to open it, two level 100 Cult Members will pop up and try to kill you. Kill them off. They are more annoying than useful, and they only will drop 5 cooked lobsters!
57) Once the annoyance is taken care of, go inside and talk to Jorral.
______
Jorral: "Have you retrieved the books I had asked for?"
You: "Yes! Here they are!"
*you give Jorral the books*
Jorral: "Thank you! Now let me be in silence until I can figure this out. Come back to me in a day. Please do not disturb me until then..."
*Jorral kicks you out of his house, thus ending the conversation*
______
Well, now you have to wait 24 hours. You can meander off and do your own thing until then, or completely log off for a day.
But this information is super serious and will eventually determine the fate of Gielinor- so a day is kind-of necessary for the rescuing of the world.
Also, during this time, it would also be wise to stock up on various potions, weapons, GOOD food, chisels, lock picks, a cut sapphire, cut emerald, cut diamond, cut ruby, 4 Cosmic Runes, 10
Air Runes, 1 Water Rune, 10 Fire Runes, 10 Earth runes, 2 Death Runes,
papyrus, quill, empty vial, and a pestle and mortar, a spade, a grimy Snapdragon, diving gear, a tinderbox, 3 sacks, a needle, thread, compass, sextant, and a chart.
_____
58) Once you have waited the entire boring day, spent the time offline,
or gathering a bunch of supplies that will all go to good use, you may
now go back to talk to Jorral! YAY!
Once you get to his house, talk to him. Come prepared to fight 3 Cult members.
Also, bring your Demonic Doll and the Enchanted Key with you.
_____
You: "Jorral, have you finished studying?"
Jorral: "Yes actually."
You: "Can you tell me what you found out?"
Jorral: "Sure! But I'm warning you, this might take a while for me to properly explain all of this information."
You: "Alright, continue."
Jorral: "*sigh* "Okay... The Fiyres are an ancient set of armor and weapons
that where made by some early humanoid race that died out during the
Second Age."
You: "Humanoid race?"
Jorral: "An animal that carries the same characteristics of modern humans. There
aren't very many known races like that and they were thought to have
lived only in the Second Age."
You: "Interesting... Please continue."
Jorral: "These legendary Fiyres were sacred relics of this race that kept them alive for many years until the God Wars, which completely wiped them out because Saradomin believed they were too strong for their own good. Then Saradomin sent seven ghostly thieves out to steal them, so that they will not fall into the wrong hands."
You: "So you are telling me these 'Fiyres' are magical armor and weapons that are
extremely powerful and were too powerful for the creators. So Saradomin sent some ghosts to steal and separate them, right?"
Jorral: "Precisely! But no one knows where each one is hidden..."
You: "So what does this have to do with the cult that I am trying to end, and has every member chasing after me?"
Jorral: "It has everything to do about this armour! The armour itself can summon a GOD! That is the whole cult's purpose- so the leader can wear the Seven Fiyres and utilize it to become a GOD!"
You: "Oh.... Makes perfect sense; please continue."
Jorral: "Thank you, now as I said, the locations are unknown, but I think I might just know how to find them."
You: "How?"
Jorral: "I can program the Enchanted Key to where it can lock onto a Fiyre. But
I can't JUST program it, it needs some way to track onto it!"
You: "I think I have an idea."
Jorral: "You do??"
You: "Yup. I think using a certain Demonic Doll would help."
Jorral: "A Demonic Doll?? THAT'S PERFECT! Give me the key and your Demonic Doll!"
You: "Okay."
A message in your chat interface says, "You hand Jorral your Enchanted Key and the demonic doll. Jorral works on it, but nothing gets done. He hands it back to you."
Jorral: "It's NEVER going to work!"
You: "Yes it will. Let me try!"
_____
59) Use the Demonic Doll on the key.
Two options will appear in your chat interface.
"Push the key in the doll in by force (melee)"
"Throw the key in the doll (ranged)"
Both options will lodge the key in the doll, and you can fail, so keep trying until you get a 'Demonically Enchanted Key' in your inventory.
But each option has a different outcome in relation to melee OR range Fiyres. If you choose the first option, you will be searching for melee Fiyres. If you choose the latter option, you will be searching for range Fiyres.
If you succeed in jamming the key in the doll, you will get an image of the key jutting out of the Demonic Doll's throat, and it will read in your inventory, "Demonically Enchanted Key."
60) Talk to Jorral.
______
Jorral: "Have you programmed the Key?"
You: "Yes I have!"
Jorral: "Amazing! I hope this will work..."
You: "Oh, I'm sure it'll work. This Demonic Doll thing is very powerful."
Jorral: "Well, alright. Be back when you find the seven Fiyres, and good luck!"
______
61) Walk outside of Jorral's house and then 3, level 100 cult members pop
up, so kill all three.

Re: Gielinor's Fiyre - The Prelude
ANNOUNCEMENT:
I am writing a prequel to this quest, it will be called 'The Demonic
Doll' it is much, MUCH shorter than this giant, not any less cooler or
challenging.
I have updated some of the rewards and
requirements to better-fit the difficulty of this quest. Particularly
in the 4th Fiyre. The rewards are MUCH more generous and I have made
the requirements a little harder, due to recent quest releases, and the
growth in levels among players and to better-match the difficulty of
the quest, while keeping relatively challenging to reach that level.
