It's Here!

Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf is out. With it, the first real gun (a hand cannon), a new mining spot (with rune, adamanite, and gold), a new battlefield (with dwarves, like the Khazard battlefield), and the Dragon Pickaxe!

... and the quest is short and unchallenging, as I've heard, and doesn't contribute to the storyline (much), also, as I've heard. The first gun is, apparently, crap. The Dragon Pickaxe looks ugly, in my opinion - sorry lol - and is, apparently, really easy to get compared to other dragon drops.

I'm kind of disappointed they finally came out with the dragon pickaxe. It was the one small beacon of hope that Jagex doesn't give in to people complaining about things...unless they were planning on making a dragon pickaxe all along.

I think the fact they were making it all along is obvious - or, they intention to release it is obvious. However, the exact form of release was yet to be chosen. Considering they are the Red [pick]Axe, I was hoping that we might ONLY see-but-not-touch the pickaxe for a while... maybe the weapon of some high troll-comander or something. But no... the first quest it's what, if I recall, is planned to be a three-part story and they release the Dragon Pickaxe in the first one.

I don't know...It just seemed like the dragon pickaxe should have been the quintessential item that was requested for years and was content to remain a mere rumor.

Dragon counterparts of all the chromological equipment was inevitable - unfortauntely, it's really inconsistent how and where they are found considering that it was forged by the dragonkin assumed for a specific allegiance it had during the war. Aside from the belly of ancient beast, or stockpiles that may remain, those who possess such items should be related to the theme and not the item - because it's a pickaxe doesn't mean dwarf, the fact remains it's still a dragon item.

Woohoo let's all pick apart a quest, bash all its rewards, and completely forget the fact that this is a game...

This quest was interesting, it added some interesting storyline to how exactly Chaos Dwarves are made. It gave more evidence to my theory that arposandra is in on the plot. It had some interesting commentary and the rewards aren't to shabby

There's nothing quite like a quiet evening at home picking apart months of hard work.

The release of the Dragon Pickaxe would come eventually, like the release of all dragon items.

Dwarves like hammers? Maybe the final dwarf quest will release a big boss that occasionally drops dragon warhammers
