It takes like 5 minutes a day, and who doesn't want to gain money and experience in a rather slow and expensive skill?

I don't make them either, buy and log out. I think I have accumulated around 27m in battlestaffs, which I am too lazy to finish and/or alch.

Indeed we do, the only thing left for me is Onyx jewelry and certain pieces of Black D'hide, not much fun.

The problem with Crafting is that the only things which make money, you need a lot of money to make them. With smithing, you can easily obtain to ore with Mining... but with Crafting, there is no particularly "simple" way to obtain gemstones.
