Unique Drop Armour Augments

Think Draconic Visage on a much larger scope, Imagine if most monsters had a "unique drop" that was some part of their corpse, was rare, and could be added to equipment for bonuses and abilities...

Unicorn Skull/Black Unicorn Skull
Proposed Smithing/Crafting level: 40/45
Item to be augmented: Innoculation Brace
Effect: Infinite Immunity to disease, and for the Black Unicorn Skull you cannot be poisoned until the poison effect you are under wears off

Jungle Snake Fangs
Smithing/Crafting level: 50
Item to be Augmented: Green Spikey Vambraces
Effect: Poisons those in combat with you for 1 damage

Elf Skull
Smithing/Crafting level: 70 Crafting
Item to be Augmented: Mystic Staves (all types)
Effect: Increased Mage Bonus

Ogre Ribcage/Jogre Skull
Smithing/Crafting level: 60
Item to be Augmented: Granite Body / Granite Helm
Effect: Increased Defense Stats

Scorpion Carapace
Smithing/Crafting level: 30
Item to be Augmented: Wizard Robes
Effect: Increased Melee defences

Aquanite Light
Smithing/Crafting level: 80
Item to be Augmented: Farseer Helm/Archer Helm
Effect: Acts as light source, increased stat, all attackers will have prayer drain as if they had -10 prayer boost added to their current equipment boost

Staring Visage (Cockatrice/Basilisk)
Smithing/Crafting level: 75
Item to be Augmented: Mirror Shield
Effect: Slightly drains enemy stats...negated by mirror shield

Shaikahan Pelt
Smithing/Crafting level: 85
Item to be Augmented: Splitbark Body
Effect: Increased Melee Defenses

Kalphite Carapace (From Queen)
Smithing/Crafting level: 95
Item to be Augmented: Dragon Chain
Effect: Becomes a piece of insanely powerful mage gear

Wallasalki Tusks
Smithing/Crafting level:65
Item to be Augmented: Seercull
Effect: Special Drains 75% of energy and removes 110% of hit from mage level

Lesser demon horns/Greater demon Flesh/black demon flesh
Smithing/Crafting level: 67/72/77
Item to be Augmented: Black and Red Mystic Hat/Bottom/Robe-top
Effect:Looks like a small demon, weighs -3kg total, has better stats

Turoth Hide
Smithing/Crafting level:57
Item to be Augmented: Dragon square shield
Effect: Gives extra defences against those not using appropriate slayer weapons (maybe like 10-20% extra)

Kurask Horns
Smithing/Crafting level: 80
Item to be Augmented: Slayer Helm
Effect: 20% against task monsters, and increases stats

Dagannoth King Skull+Ribcage (Skull is placed on shoulderguard)
Smithing/Crafting level: 90
Item to be Augmented: Rockshell, Skeletal, or Spined top appropriately
Effect: Increased stats

Tormented Flesh
Smithing/Crafting level: 95
Item to be Augmented: Dragon Platebody
Effect: Makes it an awesome piece of Mage Gear

Ice Troll Flesh (male/female)
Smithing/Crafting level: 57
Item to be Augmented: Yak-Hide (bottom/top)
Effect: Increased Stats

Ice Wolf Pelt
Smithing/Crafting level: 70
Item to be Augmented: Neitiznot Helm
Effect: Resilience to Ice effects

Desert Wolf Pelt
Smithing/Crafting level: 40
Item to be Augmented: Desert Robes
Effect: Increased resilience to desert effect

I fail to see how the Turoth Augment would ever work... I think you've worded it wrong. Confuse

What do you mean

...it's simple...if someone isn't using leaf sword, leaf spear, slayer dart, or broad bolts/arrows the shield will act as though it has + 20 extra def in every category...

That just sounds like you get defence bonuses on PKing worlds if you try and kill an ill-equipped player. Tongue

"Gives you extra defence bonuses against slayer monsters you aren't equip to fight"?

But... but... what's the point in such a complicated effect that will only work for pj'ing slayers who obviously didn't go prepared to slay? It's like...

*goes to cocatrices in PVP world*
"Yo, take off your shield a sec!"
*kills the idiot for taking off his shield - and thus completing the condition on the effect - with your added defence bonuses... wait what?*
"HAHA! Now these cocatrices are mine!"

First, the scenario is stupidly complicated and in context of the scenario it's even more pointless.

Even if it's just... gives you extra defence bonuses against slayer monsters you aren't equip to fight it'd be better, but it's just silly as it is.
