Another Free Quest??

I read the latest BTS and apparently there's a brand new F2P quest coming out. Don't get me wrong, as a free player myself, I'm thrilled to be able to have something new to do, but this does seem to go against Jagex's long-standing policy of leaving F2P the way it is. This is now the second new free quest we've had in the last few months after a drought of years, and although it is just a remake of Romeo and Juliet, I'm wondering if they're changing it because it hasn't aged well (like they said) or if they're starting to cater more to free players.

I s'pose it's only an update. If it was an entirely new quest, I wouldn't be so impressed.

I don't mind giving free players new quests at all.

I'm fine as long as Jagex updates a few of the older member quests that were there before Heroes' quest like Sheep Herder, Merlin's Crystal, and Lost City, and others; that was just to name a few.

I'm only fine with it if I can complete them again. Have asterisks that say;
"Due to major changes in this quests content, players have the option to start this quest over. Doing so will not withdraw any rewards, or have a knock-on effect for quests that require it. Recompleted quests will only award players any additional reward - with experience this will only be the difference should the new experience reward be greater."

I wonder what would happen to Romeo and Juliet? Will they be completely erased from the game, or made into miniquests like Witch's Potion or Sheap Shearer, and made completely useless?
I mean, I think Romeo is used in like one other quest. The characters after the quest are pretty useless, maybe except for the Apothecary.

Removing Romeo an Juliey works for me actually. It would mean it can be one of Billie Shakespeare's plays!

Also I use the Apothecary for Shilo Village 2 and Romeo and Juliet II.

I think f2p should get a quest at least twice a year... They deserve more updates! Jagex have stated themselves that f2p is the game, p2p is merely an expansion.
