I'm not convinced...
Please keep discussion canon or speculative.
Lucien wishes to become a god. Yet, he lacks one thing in the blueprint he's following... a god to kill.
Bilrach is attempting to rip open the dungeon dimension and free Zamorak; and possibly everything else too.
Azzanadra has breached the seal to the Shadow Realm, and is now trying to break it entirely.
The fifth and FINAL in the Mysteries of the Mahjarrat saga, the Ritual of the Mahjarrat, is suppose to happen in the next year. HOW CAN IT?! We have so much to happen before/during the ritual... but that's too much to happen in one quest! Even a big quest!
In the Legacy of Seergaze they are trying the destroy the Edicts... you can't cop-out on finishing that storyline by releasing the Mahjarrat one!

Re: I'm not convinced...
Well, I suppose it's all possible if the Ritual of the Mahjarrat concludes right before the ritual itself... thus giving time for everything else. It would work best as a post-event quest... you can't have a shift in the gods only affect players who complete the quest, it should affect EVERYONE! With the quest being us cleaning up/finding out what happened.
What d'you guys think?

Re: I'm not convinced...
I think he could very well be angling to kill Saradomin, Guthix, Armadyl, maybe even Bandos.

Re: I'm not convinced...
But like... how is HE planning to bring them into play? Surely he hasn't heard from Bilrach since Bilrach enters Daemonhiem!
Re: I'm not convinced...
a) Guthix didn't imprison them all in the same place
b1) guthix didn't imprison one or two of them (think:Armadyl) because they left of their own volition/signed some sort of holy-binding compact with Guthix
b2) Only Zamorak required such an extensive imprisonment.

He, but how do you think LUCIEN is going to bring them into play? Regardless of where they are, we've heard nothing of *his* plans.

Oh wow. That'd be sooooo awesome!
But like... doesn't that mean Armadyl would have it? The chances of an avian tripping... sorry, images in my head of some crazy theatrics and then it cut to Shark Tale when the seahorse trips.
Re: I'm not convinced...
But as we know, incredibly powerful indead warrior-mage-things can trip. It wasn't Zaros who tripped...
I'm imagining it flying through dimensions to armadyl, lucien holding on for dear life and then he arrives next to Armadyl and stabs him.

*plunges shaft into Zaros*
Zaros: Mwuhahahaha! You think that'll do anything?!
*Zaros trips*
Me: ARGH! Get it out of me!

Re: I'm not convinced...
also, lucien was there so no one has to trip
Lucien plunges staff into Armadyl
Lucien throws himself onto staff's other end
Cue power transfer

Re: I'm not convinced...
I hope the stone never works the same way twice. It'd just be a kick in the balls.
*throws self at staff*
Lucien: Argh?! Why's it not working?!
*Armadyl grabs the end of the staffs and pulls it out, flinging Lucien toward the void*
Lucien: NOOOO!
*claws the flaw*
*screen fades to black and the player finds themselves in Lumbridge*
Game: To be continued...
Player: WHAT THE CABBAGE?!
