Fish Flingers
I have no idea what I'm suppose to do. I've figured out it's a game of mastermind, and I've got 100%... but do I only need one fish? Or do I just keep fishing until the timer ends? There was no tutorial or anything. Did it the first time this morning, and the lady spoke to me like I'd done it before... I had to go on the wiki but the article is terrible (or I was just tired).

Re: Fish Flingers
I found the perfect catch in the lake and just camped it for 15 minutes. I got 15k: for my level the cap is 18k, so not bad. But I don't know what I'm suppose to have done to improve it.
Re: Fish Flingers
Fishflingers is a pretty good game, it requires a bit of guesswork here and there, but is quite decent.
The styles needed to catch certain fish changes from week to week, so there is no real strategy other than to work it out for yourself.

Re: Fish Flingers
You need to catch 6 styles of fish, hidden in the four distinct areas - docks, lake, river, and beach. Two of the areas will have two fish.
You need to adjust your bait, hook, and length accordingly to find the proper catches. If you ever get a "half" of a 33%, then you need to adjust it to a similar. So if you are using the Green Moth, and you can the 16%, then the real bait is a Grey Moth or a Green Worm-thing.
Once you get all six, you'll get more of a maximum reward!

Re: Fish Flingers
Check the previous four areas and increase/decrease the range of your rod. Try using fish/hooks you've not used at all. Also, while going for the first ones and experimenting, look over the list at the top to see if a second pops up.
Also, before going into FF, talk to the fisherman and ask him for a hint. It'll help.

Re: Fish Flingers
The depressing thing is I swear I get more experience spending 15 minutes at Fish Flingers than in the hour between games doing solid barbarian fishing with urns...
Re: Fish Flingers
Haha, I'm getting it! Just got all 6, as well as one which weighed 199!
Determining the fish that is the heaviest was weird. Two of them end in 9s... if you get 179 ever, then it's the other fish. As one will give 179 and the other will give 199.
EDIT: Oh yeah, max xp.

You get about 13-21k xp, depending on your level.

And yep! Good job 199 is the max weight as well, btw, so look for the ones that end in 9. The 9s are the highest and the lowest ones.
