I'm back!

Sorry for the long time I wasn't on, but I've been playing Earthbound and Mother3. I may not be on much for the next week or so, but I'll check in periodically.

For Earthbound: does the name "Ness" ring a bell?
Mother 3: "Lucas".
Earthbound is a hilarious game (It's enemies are outrageous; one of them is a "Retro Hippie"). Mother 3 can be hilarious at times, but is generally more mature (People close to the main character die).
The series is called "Mother", Earthbound is also known as "Mother 2". Mother 3 is only in Japanese, so I play a fan translation. And an update on my status: next week, I'm going on a trip for three days, and will likely not have access to Internet.

Ness only rings a bell as the Loch Ness Monster, and my aunt's nickname (short for Vanessa). And Lucas... Lucas games?

Yeah? In context still the names Lucas and Ness mean nothing.

Ness and Lucas are playable characters. And what context are you referring to? They're the main characters in the games I've been playing.

Super SMASH bros, not Mario. They are playable characters in the series (or at least in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I'm not sure if lucas was playable in the game preceding it).
