Why can't I access the game?

For some reason, my game NEVER loads if I try to play RuneScape in a browser. Even when the Firewall is switched off, I can't access the game via the browser and can only access it via a client on Administrator mode.

Can anyone help me remedy this problem?

Um, computer type? I can't access it through a browser on my mac, something about the computer not playing wel with java

It's a lenovo. It was once able to access via browser, then suddenly decided it didn't want to any more.

He meant operating system... but I'm going to assume Windows (although it could have been Linux). Have you made sure your browser and java are up to date? Cleared your cache/temporary files in case there's a corrupted version stuck in the game files.

It's Windows and I just updated Java for Firefox.

Using CCleaner to clean the cache didn't work. I checked and when I click the message saying "Error. Click for details" it just says "client.class"

I managed to access the game via Browser, but I can only do so if I Run as Administrator - same with the client. Can anyone make sense of why it is blocked unless I give myself specific permissions?
