Re: Killing the Queen
hah! Unless level 78 will do...with a super set I get to be like 90 and I can heal with Guthan's though I doubt I will survive.
PS: I'm already pissed that my combat level will increase before I become qualified for the quest cape, I doubt I will level any other combat skills if I absolutely MUST.

Re: Killing the Queen
IKR! Going around being under level 80 and having over 250 qps...man I thought I was sooo cool and NO ONE had an excuse to call me noob.
...and then Smoking Kills came out and bam! level 85 required. Next comes other quests with super-high combat stats required, and finally to top it all off with Nomad (or even the Decaying Avatar). I doubt I could ever defeat him since I currently have so much trouble with easier bosses.
I guess Jagex conceded with players claiming the quests were too easy with no meaningful combat. Damn peoples' short attention spans...! >.>

Re: Killing the Queen
Didn't Dream Mentor's 85 requirement come out first? I was 86 combat by the time the first combat requirement came out, anyway.
"Easy quests" and "combat requirement" don't exactly go together... you can have a difficult monster and merely "recommend" a combat level.
My IRL mate's girlfriend went home so he was back online, and we duo'd the queen. 15k slayer experience: yes please.

Re: Killing the Queen
I'm 104. I fancy a challenge, I've got a Guthan's I'm itching to try on a foe that won't always block the damage.
77/78 defence, I think.

Re: Killing the Queen
I know, but I'm referring to the damage in terms of stats. I took Guthans to a lot of places to try it out and found some enemies just wouldn't take any damage.

*shrugs*
It's awesome against Cave Horrors and Mature Grotworms. Only had to eat once every 10-15 minutes when they got a string of hits, but then I'd usually get a string of heals.
