What's the point of Dungeoneering "Progress"?
I know that a dungeon marked as complete gives massively reduced experience. But what's wrong with just doing my lowest floor and resetting my progress each time?

You're meant to do all the floors again. The idea is people don't just grind the lowest floor.

But what's to stop me? Resetting my progress doesn't stop me from choosing my lowest floor, so complete bottom floor > reset > complete bottom floor > reset...
But that aside, what does current progress actually do?

Doing every floor before resetting increases your prestige, and give significantly more XP
It's a complex system, and it's easier to just tell you how to make the best of it and ask you to trust me:
Do every single floor you can do once - it doesn't matter the order, and you can do the crappy ones on C1 small
Reset, rinse, repeat
That's all you need to know

Re: What's the point of Dungeoneering "Progress"?
That's what I'm doing. But I wasn't aware of the prestige experience, so I just wasn't sure why I was doing it when it seemed more logical to just grind the best dungeon. So what, I get experience when I reset my progress?
Re: What's the point of Dungeoneering "Progress"?
No, prestige XP is counted at the end of every dungeon. If you repeat a floor (they changed this slightly) you get none.
The amount of prestige you get depends on either your previous run - the amount of floors you ticked off before resetting, or your current run - the amount of floors you currently have ticked off now, whichever is better. Tick every floor off before resetting and you maximise prestige XP

can you start a floor half-way finish it for some reason and have to go back to the same floor and still retain your prestige xp, or will it be reduced and you have to start all over?
