Dungeoneering Empty Dungeoneering

Post by Dragon78114 Fri May 18, 2012 11:19 am

Okay. I hate dungeoneering. I spend about an hour on each floor with medium size on c6.... I solo. Am I taking too long or something because I have a feeling that if I do the dungeon faster, I will get more xp.

Right now, I just finished floor 17 and levelled from level 44 to 45 with a 2.9k xp reward. I think I'm not getting something.

It's better when you do it with a party, and the fremmenik sagas giive good Dungeoneering for the first time, and you can earn good tokens

It's definently a lot more fun with a group, especially a group of friends. And an hour sounds about good for a solo, but with a group you can finish those floors much faster, and you get better xp anyway.

And no, faster does not equate to more xp before floor. The fewer deaths, the higher the floor, and the higher the prestiege, the more xp you'll get.

Dungeoneering is a poor excuse for a skill, since you cannot use it anywhere else.

If you have any complaints, please file them directly to Bilrach. He's at the bottom. Or the Nightmare, since it's creating the folded space effect.

Yeah, like everyone else says, the big mistake you've made is soloing.
Once you start going in groups, it gets better - raise your level higher and you'll tend to be with competent people who know what they're doing and the whole thing becomes more enjoyable - so much so that I raised myself to level 90 dungeoneering, and these days a lot of what I do in RS is just to make me better at raids.

And Morbius, you're quite right, Dungeoneering is poorly integrated into the rest of Runescape - that's why I made the Portal Experimentation Room

I think we need more places to train the skill.

I once suggested making a second daemonheim, well not daemonheim per see, but something akin to it

It's undergone a pretty big revamp. I decided a lot of it was unnecessary considering what I wanted to achieve.

But don't worry, I have even more ideas for Dungeoneering that might help make it integrate better into the rest of RuneScape.

The idea behind Dungeoneering though doesn't really need much integration. Training the skill exists to get you more information on the story and lore. To me, that's a fairly good reward on its own.

Also, a Second Daemonehim can't really happen, though I'd like the skill to be changed to less "Exploration of Daemoneheim" and more "Dungeoneering in general". I designed a new "Daemonheim" called Lahzrah's Lair in my quest The Temple of Lahzrah.

That's what I meant, I had created this second "Daemonheim" in my head, that was morel iek a laboratorie for the Dragonkin

Although I highly dowbt someone would want to raid a floor as low as 19 with me, I could give it a try (after I finish Back to my Roots...it took forever to train farming for that quest which I wanted to do so bad...!).

Are you going to the right world? I've easily been able to find parties at floor 19 in the past...

Wait...? That's for dungeoneering levels? I thought that was combat... Question Blush

Anyways, the 1-80 level world is F2P

While I could be wrong, I'm fairly sure it's for Dungeoneering levels because the last one is 100-120, which would leave 18 combat levels unaccounted for.

And the 1-80 world is members. I'm looking at it as I type. F2P has a generic dungeoneering world with no specific levels...
