Re: Old Gielinor's Fiyre
REWARDS
----------
Congratulations! You have completed Gielinor's Fiyre!
You have been awarded:
- 6 Quest Points
- 30,000 Defense XP and Prayer XP
- 20,000 Agility XP and Hitpoints XP
- 10,000 Crafting XP and 10,000 Thieving XP
- 8,000 Hunter, Summoning, and Herblore XP
- A Demonic Doll to aid you in combat.
- The Fiyre Armour and weapons
- A secret reward from the Vyrewatch you killed...
Total Quest Points: ?
---------------
[Total XP gained is LESS than While Guthix Sleeps.]
---------------
If you take the Vyrewatch to the Columbarium, and burn it using teak logs+, it will give you a key for one of the drawers in the place AND Drakan's Journal Page which explains why the Sixth Fiyre Thief was in Port Phasmatys, and not in Olaf's Cave. Mainly because Drakan rose to power by first stealing the Fiyre as a humble adventurer and harnessing its godly powers to give him the initiative to help take over Morytania.*
The Demonic Doll is a rather powerful combat helper. If you throw it, it will zap magical energies and damage (from 20-50hp) on another player (only in PvP worlds or single-way combat
mini-games) and will immediately teleport back in your inventory (hits through prayers). It will also absorb all magical attacks that are directed towards you by 50%, and will remove the added effect.
However, the doll only can be used 30 times until it has to be recharged, you will have to go on another pilgrimage if you want to re-charge it, or pay Jorral 20,000gp. Absorbing the magical attacks and the special affect created by the spell counts as a charge.
-----Footnotes------
*Jagex, you can edit ANY of the history I said in this quest- I just thought of something.

Re: Old Gielinor's Fiyre
FIYRE STATS AND INFO
+++++++++++++++++++++
*Note* PLEASE TELL ME IF I AM GIVING THE ARMOUR TOO GOOD/BAD STATS! I'm not too good with suggesting rewards.
Stats-
All pieces of armour offer the same stats to wear, which requires: level 76 Prayer, 85 Defense, 82 Attack (for ALL melee equipment), or 82 Range (for ALL Range Equipment).
-------
THE INFO
-------
Alright first off, I will describe what each Fiyre does to you. (In list form
because it is easier and I am really lazy right now )
-Since this armour was created to honor a god (not specifics), the creators decided it was for all the gods. Thus, causing offense to many of the gods, and now it has a negative prayer effect and is burdened with extreme weight.
- Beats most armour and weapons with stats. This will become a fad; no doubt.
- You may only pray at altars of Saradomin, Guthix, or Zamorak when wearing any Fiyre. Otherwise, the gods will smite you, and be dealt 5hp with no prayer points re-generated.
- This armour is untradeable because this is HOLY ARMOUR! You can't just sell ancient, holy armour!
- Like all other fancy and old armour, it will degrade... Slower than the Crystal Shield and Barrows armour. Luckily, you can pay Bob in Lumbridge 100k gp if your armour is at 0%, whereas if your equipment is at 99%, you will have to pay Bob 1k gp. You can find out how it is doing by examining it.
By the way, if your armour is at 0%, you cannot wear it.

Re: Old Gielinor's Fiyre
- Spoiler:
- I. Fiyre Helm and Coif
This helmet bumps up your Runecrafting and Crafting levels by two temporarily, if operated in the equipment stats. But, it reduces your Attack by one.
This boost WILL NOT count for doing quests, like temporarily raising your level to
start a quest with a high requirement. This applies for all of the Fiyres.
---
---
II. Fiyre Platebody
This will temporarily bump your Defense and Attack up two levels, while lowering your Strength level by 2.
---
---
III. The Fiyre Platelegs
This will temporarily bump your Thieving, Magic, and Strength up by three levels, while lowering your maximum Hitpoints and Attack by two levels.
IV, V. Fiyre Boots and Gloves.
This will cause your run energy to temporarily jump up to 120% and your Agility and Magic
up three levels, while reducing your maximum Hitpoints by one point.
V. Fiyre Shield | Infini-Arrows
-
The shield's special is a 'Crumble Undead' spell without runes, or the
spell 'Slayer Dart' (if you have done Smoking Kills and 55 Slayer).
Both spells will take up only half of the Special Attack Meter
-
The Arrows will have a special attack that the bows will become made of flames and will damage your opponent 1.5 times more damage.
The special attack will take up only half of the Special Attack Meter
---
---
VII. Fiyre Sword | Fiyre Bow
- The Fiyre Sword's Special only works if you are wielding the Fiyre Shield.
You will do a circular attack upward (like in the attack skillcape emote) and jam your opponent in the face.
This will cause 2.5 times more damage than normal and you will hit less.
This special attack takes up 3/4 of your Special Attack bar.
- The Fiyre Bow has two specials: One with Infini-Arrows, and one with any other kind of arrow.
The special with the Infini-Arrows will have a special that will hit you opponent 5 times. Each time hitting over 5 damage. (Note that if you use the arrow's special with it, it can get pretty dangerous.)
The special attack without the Infini-Arrows, is an attack that takes 5 arrows, and each will hit no lower than three.
This special will take up 3/4 of the special attack meter.
---
Great! Now it is time for the description
All the armour looks sinisterly cool!
They kind-of look like 3rd-Age, but with gold trimmed and a fancy gold design on a white surface. In the center of each object, there is a small blue area with gold encrypted over each part.
In some areas, the gold is lined with rubies, but not all areas!
The helmet isn't like a full helmet. It is kinda like a modern medium helmet mixed with a 3rd age helmet, but no part covering the top of the head.
The platebody and platelegs are big and chunky, while the ranger legs and body are light and movable (appearance-wise).
The gloves and boots are exactly the same: elegant yet cumbersome, and somewhat chunky.
The sword and shield are big and beautiful. The shield kinda is a mix between a spirit shield and 3rd Age Shield, and the sword is like a mix between a small Godsword and Keris.
The bow is rather menacing with an elegant yet creepy design. Its like a white dark bow
without the teeth mixed with a yew comp bow.
The arrows have a reddish, ethereal body, the base of the arrowhead is white, while the
tip is gold, the feather at and the end is blue.

Those are all Seven Fiyres!

Level 4 Clue Scrolls
++++++++++++
The clues are no longer rewards, as Elite Clue scrolls defeated this idea. However, I am keeping them listed if you want.
These are extremely hard clue scrolls that will take you farther, make you do even harder tasks, harder riddles and math problems to solve, and more!

The clues are no longer rewards, as Elite Clue scrolls defeated this idea. However, I am keeping them listed if you want.
These are extremely hard clue scrolls that will take you farther, make you do even harder tasks, harder riddles and math problems to solve, and more!
- Spoiler:
- Alright, the first thing I might want to say is a list of possible skill and quests you might want to have completed before attempting these clues or to bask properly in the rewards:
SKILLS/COMBAT:
- Able to kill level 100 Zamorak Mage (for Wilderness clues only)
- Able to kill level 150 Saradomin Mage (for map clues anywhere outside of the Wilderness)
- Able to kill two level 115 Uri's (emote clues only)
- Able to kill other high-leveled monsters
- 70 Defense
- 70 Strength
- 70 Attack
- 60 Prayer
- 51-90 Slayer
QUESTS:
- A Quest Cape.
-----
Now the stupid requirements are out of the way...
And I bet you are wondering, "Holy moly... Why would I want to do any of that for a stupid clue??"
The answer is....
*drum roll*
Dragon armour and weapons as the Rewards of course...and of course a healthy
amount of other neat-o rewards! (except for the platebody and full square shield)
Alright now I got that out of the way, I can explain how the clues can get harder, AND I will introduce a new clue...
- The Map Clues
As you learned from experience in level three clue scrolls, that if you dig anywhere outside of the Wilderness you will be attacked by a level 100 Saradomin Mage. You will be attacked by one that leveled 150; exactly like in the Gielinor's Fiyre Quest (this applies also to Coordinate Clues).
Just like in Gielinor's Fiyre quest, you were attacked by the level 100 Zamorak Priest, you will be attacked if you dig/do whatever the clue tells you to do in the correct spot, if you are in the Wilderness.
But here is a twist, a few, if not a lot of the map clues will bring you to a place that looks too common, or it has very little landmarks. Also, the maps are colorless due to their old age...
- The Coordinate Clues
Just like the Map Clues, you will get attacked by the level 150 Saradomin Mage or
the level 100 Zamorak Mage. They will also lead you to almost impossible-to-reach areas, or really secluded areas.
You will still need a watch, chart, sextant, and a spade to dig up the casket containing your treasure or next clue...
- The Emote Clues
These are sick just like the level 3 ones, but sicker.
These can tell you to perform a skill cape emote (anyone, I'm not that mean), a random event emote, or the Goblin Emotes, in rather inconvenient places (like the part of the Underground Pass on the grid you had to pass- and on the proper grid square, or the part of the underground pass where you can fall off, and fall into the little dwarf village).
They will be written in code as well and you might even have to wear a random dragon
armour/weapon (including the full half-shield, full helm, and the platebody), a Bandos Godsword (none other), possibly God Armour, or various rewards from level 3 clues....
There will be three Uri's to deal with as well. Instead of two, and this time they are level 112.
- The Fight Clues
*This is a new clue! YAY!*
These are tough because it requires high level monsters to be slain in order to get the next clue.
If you do manage to kill the target, (it can range anywhere from Dust Devils to the KBD, or any super boss [oh, and if you are unlucky enough to get the KQ, you must kill her first form only])
NOTE: This is the least common clue. It will be impossible to have more than two of these clues in each game. You have to have lootshare off and you must have the last hit on the certain monster before dropping a casket containing your next clue or your reward.
- The Anagrams/Riddles
The utterly most annoying part your search. If you think level three clues are annoying, it just got more annoying.
More complicated riddles like, "This flower is a perfect for a date."
That is referring to the flowers you had to pick for the troll in Troll Romance, you will have to go on a sleigh ride through Trollweiss mountains, and pick one of these flowers, and then give it to Ug, who will have your next clue or reward waiting.
And the anagrams will become a random jumble of letters, rather than mixed-up syllables.
Also, all anagrams will lead to a challenge scroll.
- The Challenge Scrolls
*You will only get one if you get an anagram clue*
Once you find your NPC, like all others, you will get a challenge.
Now these problems are more complex (who is up for solving 3 variables in an equation, rearranging an equation in a way that makes it even, findiing a length of a side of a right triangle, or solving radical equations?).
OR the person will ask you to go and ask you rather vague questions like: How many crates minus the amount of trees are around here?
If I were you, I would AVOID these clues at all times... that is if you don't want a possible Dragon Armour reward...
Alrighty, now that is out of the way, you are probably thinking, "How in Hell am I supposed to get these insanely hard clues???"
Here is your answer: Thieving and Combat.
Here are the possible monsters that can drop such a clue...
- The Kalphite Queen
- Any Daggonoth King
- The King Black Dragon
- Steel and Mithril Dragons
- All slayer monsters that require level 75 or more Slayer (EXCEPT for the Spiritual Mages)
- Any God Wars Boss
- The Corporal Beast
- Scarab Mage, Ranger, or Lancer
- A Vyrewatch (level 200+ only)
- Suquah (rare)
More to be added...
And you can *rarely* thieve these clues from:
- Pickpocketing Elves
- Stealing from King Lathas's Chest
Now that you have gotten the monsters, here are the rules!
- If the monster already has a level 3 clue drop and its over level 200, after every 4th level 3 clue will be a level 4. If the monster is below level 200, then it will be after every six level 3 clues.
-If the monster DOESN'T already have a level three clue drop, it will drop a level four regardless and at the same rate as any other clue.
- If lootshare is on, then it is impossible to get a level 4 clue scroll.
- For the thieving, it will happen every 250th time you steal/pickpocket. So don't expect to get it quick.

Re: Old Gielinor's Fiyre
- Spoiler:
- Now the rewards!
Definitely worth the wait and the trouble of the *extremely* hard clues!
Like most clues, you will get Prayer Book Pages, Purple Sweets, Firelighters, Money, Runes, Various Foods, Armour, Weapons, Tools, and Fancy Clothes.
That is a possibility in these clues!
The purple sweets will average-out to be around 125 per game (if you get it as a reward).
For the cash, you will have about 30k average (if you get any)
There will be a healthy amount of Firelighters (like around 50 of a color) and even a new color to change your fires: Black!
The runes will be like 250 Natures or like 125 Astral Runes, 500 Cosmic... etc... A real-good amount, but the amounts of the runes get lower as the runes increase in power.
The food will be around 30 Sharks, 50 Swordfish, 15 Sea Turtles, 40 Monkfish etc... Just a random
amount of fish that is Swordfish and up, and note that the more powerful the food, the less of it you get. All are cooked.
The armour:
All forms of Dragon Armour, except for the Platebody, and the full square shield. You might get a shield half though.
Trimmed Black Dragonhide Armour
It has all the stats of regular black D-hide, but has an extra +5 to every attack stat and ranged strength.
Random piece of Barrows armour or weaponry; in perfect condition.
Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak Boots and Gloves*, they have the same styles as the Cozier, Stole, Cloak, Mitre, and Vestments. Each has a +8 Prayer Bonus and you need level 70 Prayer to wear.
Amulet of Fury(t), looks like a regular Amulet of Fury, but it is a triangle. Gold makes
up the rest of the triangle thing, with the actual amulet in the middle.
*Fancier adjectives will be nicer.
- Robin Hood Tights!
Yes! Green tights that match with a Robin Hat, Ranger Boots, and any Dragonhide Armour! It has the exact stats of Black Dragonhide legs. It requires level 50 Range and 40 Defense to wear.
Now its the weapons
- Abyssal Whip
- Dark Bow
- God Sword Shard, NO HILT!
- Any Dragon Weapon
- Any Barrows Weapon
The Tools:
- A Dragon Axe (lol that is it )
- A Dragon Pickaxe
Fancy 'Armour': *All will give a +5 bonus to all defensive stats, to they are more of like armour*
- A Dragon Cane
These things have a cool design with a dragonstone on the top of the cane but it only has a strength bonus of +21.
- Royal Costumes (red/gold, green/gold, blue/white, black/gold)
These are like Elegant costumes, but with gold or white trim embedded with
gems (ruby for red/gold, emerald for green/gold, sapphire for blue/white, and diamond for black/gold).
Wow... That is all I have to say about these clues....
Except good luck!

Re: Old Gielinor's Fiyre
Whew! I think I rewrote Gielinor's Fiyre completely!
Here's what I changed:
- Got rid of Savant and the Temple Knights and connected the story with The Purification
- Got rid of your Demoniacally Enhanced Key, and how you find the locations for the Fiyres.
- Rewrote the entire search for the first Fiyre
- Reworked the beginning for every search
- Changed the requirements and rewards
- Reworked a few boss fights
- Corrected a humongous amount of grammatical errors
see you in a new thread. 3mpty, can you lock this thread?
