Although it is established, it might be good to have this discussion started if it pops up again.

Also, this thread will be for discussing the plot of this uber-sweet quest.

yeah..I think time has passed. I mean with all these combat updates, I don't think this is possible anymore? Maybe? I'm too lazy to update my Axar thread AND I have moved on to a new topic [which I want to unveil in another thread and it isn't as long as Axar!]. I think we could either rekindle our idea or toss for another. I think it served its time well for its time and the game has since evolved.... Sigh

I think the primary we know too much of Guthix's lore now for Durial's motivation to make sense. I think it's more a case of the quest has become outdated by lore.

hm.... I guess I need to catch up on Guthix mythology!

Could we update Durial's motivation, or is it best to give this quest a permanent break?

Either made obsolete by lore or the new mechanics.

Well we could make new ideas. I'm certainly thinking about putting my toe back in the water of RS suggestions. Though I still have to work on the lore and the combat system. lol

I went through my old RS suggestions when I transfered my files onto my new computer...I had several ideas for Dungeoneering Dungeons which would be fun to flesh out...
