Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
I still think nintendo released gen six too soon. It hasn't even been a year since B2 and W2 have been released and quite frankly, the designs for the starters are shitty and look rushed. I find that the new fire-type starter is the only one worth it (based on looks).

To be honest, they've been downhill since the first generation.
2nd sub-par, and 3rd was the start of the end.

Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
I liked gen 3 and 5. I think 4 sucked, however.
Gen 4, to me at least, was a time where the company was running out of ideas so they created 30 new evolutions for preexisting pokemon. Their design, however, was fine.
Gen 3 took me a while to adjust to the new artistic style the Pokemon were designed in. Gen 5 also, but I also like it because it has a mix of all previous 4 generations but also tends to have an air originality.
Gen 1 and 2 I still regard highly and for a awhile I was like a Gen 1 only person.

Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
I always find my favourites from each generation, but it becomes harder the further back I go.
I am a tad disappointed this generation didn't have a console-based Battle Game (like Colosseum), a Mystery Dungeon or a previous generation Remake. I was kind of hoping the Wii U would have brought those out.
But the graphics and game-play on X + Y look amazing, really reviving the 3D engine in the 3DS that, sadly, I have yet to properly enjoy even with 3D games.

So only 5 pokemon have been shown so far, but to be honest, I love all of them. The starters (except Fennekin, which looks adorable) kinda take some time to grow on you, but once they do, you'll love them.
I'm excited for Gen 6. Plain and simple

...and then comes another eeveelution I'm guessing it will be one of these four types: steel, fighting, normal, or ghost.

Wouldn't it have been easier to say "Chespin and Froakie"?
I hope the Froakie path doesn't look too similar to Totadile.
Yveltal looks like Eternum Nocturne from League of Legends - AWESOME.
I wish they'd add a normal evolution path: Eeveeon. For when Eevee isn't exposed to harsh environments.

Some trivia points on Eeveelutions:Handeath wrote:Flying.
- Vaporeon is the only Eeveelution that does not share any weakness with another. Flareon and Jolteon are weak to Ground-type moves, Espeon, Umbreon and Leafeon are weak to Bug-type moves, Umbreon and Glaceon are weak to Fighting-type moves, and Leafeon and Glaceon are weak to Fire-type moves.
- All of the Eeveelutions so far have types whose moves were formerly governed solely by the Special Attack stat. The only formerly all-special type not yet covered is Dragon.
Flying shares a weakness with Water (Electric).
Sylva/Silva means forest/orchard/grove/wood, though. Not entirely sure how that relates to flying.
Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
It just so turns out there will be more Pokemon games due for release before Generation VI.
A Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for the 3DS will be available in the UK in May. Unlike the predecessors, the player can choose their Pokemon from Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Pikachu and Axew rather than have it chosen based on personality. Also, the story differs somewhat slightly, in the sense that it isn't the story of a human turning into a Pokemon.
A new Pokemon Rumble style game was leaked on February 12th in Coro Coro magzine for the Wii U. This is first Pokemon title announced for that console so far.

Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
Any ideas on the new fairy type? I personally think Gardevoir has always been a very elegant, yet shitty, pokemon and I'm glad she gets an update. I still won't use her on my team, however.
BTW I'm getting Y.

Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
I'll be getting whatever, as long as I get Pangoro, he'd be an excellent Pokemon to work with through the gym leaders.
Teach him fighting move, dark move, Fire Punch and see if I can sneak in Zen Headbutt.
Correctly tutored, those moves will allow him to be super effective against Normal, Ice, Steel, Rock, Dark, Psychic, Ghost, Bug, Grass, Poison and Fighting types. And he'd get STAB on two of them.

Morbius, the panda guy looks cool. Though I'm sure you could do the same with Scrafty.
EDIT: But I admit, Pangoro looks awesome

Pangoro has the ability Iron Fist - makes him better with Fire Punch.

Very true; can't argue with that. Iron fist makes Golurk indestructible. What I want to know are the final evolutions for the starters!

Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
Hold the phone. Just found out about mega pokemon. I hope this is real; bulbapedia seems to dismiss it.
But if it is true, I'm going to get myself both a Blaziken and Lucario and kick some ass.
I'm glad Mawile and Absol are getting an update, too. Perhaps they won't be so useless anymore?

I want a raccoon Pokemon, one that is a tricky little thief. Because raccoons are cool.

Re: Pokemonz Gen 6 :O
If you look at the length of a generation, based on initial Japanese release dates of the main games of that generation and the next, Generations III and IV are the longest, lasting 3 years,
11 months.
Generation II was the shortest, lasting 3 years exactly.
But if you have to give points on which generation received the least games, Generation II had only six games, whilst Generation II and IV had the most at 15 each.
