Merging

1. Merging:

Merging is the ability to merge 2 or more objects.

Sword merging: when you merge a sword it becomes double sidedand its attack is a 2 hit attack each doing the damage that the weapon usualy does when it isnt merged.

Warhammer merging: When you merge 2 warhammers it becomes a maul related to its title.ex.bronze maul

B axe merging:When merging b axes they become chain linked related to its title.ex.Bronxe chain B axe

Bow merging:Bow merging creats an xbow its 2 bows that are put together in the shape of an X. They require special rune merged arrows.

arrow merging: When you merge an arrow with a rune you get an arrow with a title that relates to the type of rune you put on it.ex.Air arrow

maul merging: when you merge mauls it becomes a ground crusher a ground crusher has a specail in which it hits the ground and the rocks fly at the opponent each doing separate damage.A Ground crushers name is related to its title.ex.Bronze groundcrusher.

I was bored so I thought of it about half a year ago

I would like to merge the Mirror Shield with the Dragonfire Shield.

I think that would be better with a Stonecutting element, like from Fable. Have a Mirror Augement that you can place in the Dragonfire Shield, or any shield, rather than a specific Mirror Shield. Of course, items would have different amounts of "slots" - a Dragonfire shield might have 2 whilst a Rune shield has 1. You can remove augments from stuff with a special tool, unless the augments are "unique". The Dragonfire shield could have an augment call the "Dragonfire augment" - this cannot be removed as it is what gives the Dragonfire Shield it's Dragonfire. There could be an "Anti-Dragonfire" augment that is only compatible with two-handed equipment, maybe?

But, 3mptylord, what you are suggesting is customization; not merging.

It does, however, achieve the same ends... adding the Mirror ability to a Dragonfire shield, and so on.

I like the idea of two B axes connected with a chain. That would look so epic!!!
Would probably be really slow, though.

If that's the idea then surely it's something that Smithing should have?
