How do you pronounce...
How do you pronounce "Gielinor"?
I always used to pronounce it guy-lee-nor (emphasis on the lee), but that doesn't sound very fluent. I then, accidentally, when I was thinking about it, said gay-li-nor and that sounds a bit smoother in my head lol (the most emphasis is on the nor, but otherwise it's quite a flat word). And... I've started saying it with the "li" sound instead of the "lee" sound. I experimented with it and got guy-li-ner, and loads of variations with gay/gay and ner/nor/nar. I was just curious how you pronounced it.

Re: How do you pronounce...
Hmm...never actually thought about how to pronounce. If I were to say it, I'd say gih-li-nor, probably. Or maybe gee-li-nor. Both are hard g's by the way.

Yeah, I think I'm saying them right lol. Mine are quite soft g's. I don't know what I prefer. I don't like the gee sound though.

Re: How do you pronounce...
Is that hard g or soft g, Dark? Like the letter G or gee (rhyming with bee)
Lol... that doesn't make sense. Both rhyme with bee. Urgh... gee, how does it sound... I can think G in Georgraphy or G in... urgh... lol, I'm failing xD

Re: How do you pronounce...
Lol - I can't think of how to describe it. Geee-ography, and take the guh sounds from gill/gear and stick ee on the end - it sorta sounds like something a Scot might say lol.
I like Gih-lih-nor... almost Gill-i-nor. I'm not ditching the guy/gay sound at the beginning.
PS. I just thought lol. The other gee sound... you know when you melt butter and let it go hard again? That's called gee. It's pronounced with the soft G. It's used a lot in Indian cooking because it tastes nicer than oil and was first used because it was cheaper.

Re: How do you pronounce...
I'd pronounce it gee-LEE-nor or perhaps gih-LEE-nor? I'm not so sure now...

Haha. Better.
I still can't stop saying Gih-li-nor... but TATz pronounces it how I used to.

Re: How do you pronounce...
since I am partially a southerner (not proud), I tend to relax my syllables, (not so much) but I tend to do and it winds up like gay-lin-or. empahsis on the longer, first syllable
the 'g' is hit rather hard

Re: How do you pronounce...
What about the "li"?
I'm saying Gih-lih-nor and Guy-lee-na mostly.
Is it just me... or are a lot of the pictures not loading? RuneScape, mod crowns, etc?
Edit: Some mod crowns.

Crowns aren't loading for me.
I have massive lag, sometimes not even able to open the page.
Yes, some pics aren't loading.
Sometimes it doesn't let me post

I have always seen it as
