Lets talk lore?
What's your favourite interpriation of a vampire? A werewolf? And so on... lol, wow, only two example came to mind.
Re: Lets talk lore?
3mptylord's favourites!
Vampires;
• Cannot cross the threshold without being invited.
• Garlic and sunlight are bollocks.
• Heightened sense of smell and hearing.
Werewolves;
• Cannot cross running water.
• Tidal, not activated by moonlight.
• Furry, definitely with fur. I hate those naked werewolves.
• Heightened senses in the time leading up to transformation.
• Superhuman strength, agility and senses.
Zombies;
• Still decay/plagued by decomposition.
• Motor skills, digestion and, sometimes, consciousness are the only bodily functions that still... function. Healing, hormones, reflexes, etc, are all non-functional.
• Severing the head applies only to conscious zombies, animated corpses require none of their body in particular.

Re: Lets talk lore?
Zombies require eating, otherwise they can't eat flesh... and cravings for flesh, too

Are all undead not unable to cross running water?

Re: Lets talk lore?
I change my mind about eating. Regardless to what I thought before, I just remembered that the digestive system can function without the brain.
Re: Lets talk lore?
I only really liked the idea of not being able to digest from Torchwood, where he has to force himself to vomit because otherwise the food will just sit in his stomach.
Re: Lets talk lore?
But if he has no bodily functions, how could he vomit?

He stood on his head and just sorta... waited.
It's poetic license that muscles seem to work it you're undead.

Re: Lets talk lore?
Reading this... I can't decide if I like my zombies eating or not. That Torchwood episode was funny! Like... when he found out he couldn't, you know... perform... sexually.
I don't like zombies who go around saying "Brains" though, or headless zombies... I think the whole head thing is a must.

- Spoiler:
- I know, and Jack just left in one of the crappiest write-outs I've ever seen. D'you see him in that Doctor Who episode? Why'd they have to use George (well, his actor) as the gay guy? Thank fully, I had forgotten by the time Being Human was back on... no gay werewolves thankfully.
