I am not all that thrilled about this, the plot sounds cheesy, but those Zaros statues in his Poh, ooh yes.

Hmmm... I'd rather a sequel to WGS instead, but this is the next best thing (other than a real skill).

Oh my god trixtor, what the hell, the skill is perfectly fine, the only reason you dislike it is because you're like most people, afraid of change. Just because it doesn't fit perfectly with your narrow definition of what you think a skill should be doesn't mean anything's wrong with it.

Pissed much, Dark? Though I kinda agree with you here. I like the fact this skill is
different and genuinely interactive. Even though it doesn’t unlock much, I
still level it, simply because it's far more fun.

Lol, what I meant was that it wasn't so much a skill as a giant minigame; it does nothing (other than daemonheim stuff). That doesn't mean I don't like it, I just would have rather had a more traditional skill. In fact, I love the idea, I just think it could have been implemented in a better manner. It's genuinely fun, but I just wasn't expecting this type of thing to be a skill.

Re: Dev Blog: Wise Old Man
Undoubtably, they'll expand on it. I've heard they've several things in mind already. Personally, I think good uses of Dungeoneering would be the addition of shortcuts between distant areas, and unlocking secrative areas in other cavernous zones. EG: An accessable tunnel underneath the Chest at Barrows, where a secret boss can be slain with a higher drop-rate of Barrows equipment?

Re: Dev Blog: Wise Old Man
I like the skill too, but it needs expanding.
Jagex has already promised an additional set of levels, all the way to floor 60. Plus warped and chaotic floors I think, undoubtedly there'll be rewards too
I like the skill, but it needs expanding for sure, take it outside Daemonheim. Also fix the level requirements for some items, they are just misleading

Re: Dev Blog: Wise Old Man
I just realized something. You guys know about the weird door in the GWD? Remember Jagex talking about a new GWD? Maybe this skill will be used to actually unlock dungeons...

Re: Dev Blog: Wise Old Man
That sounds... pretty neat. Although they said they weren't planning any new dungeons... so maybe the dungeon won't actually be a dungeoneering dungeon even if it requires it? Or we assume the mod talking had no idea/was keeping it hushhush.
Re: Dev Blog: Wise Old Man
Still, it makes more sense than dungeoneering being (wait for it) the final dungeon!
