Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
Do you mean the company's entire selection of drinks, or the drink itself? If the former, coca-cola, if the latter, pepsi.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
Only their cola drinks (and variations - like with lemon, with vanilla, with cherry, and such).
NOT Tango, Fanta, Sprite, 7-Up, Lilt, etc.

I prefer them both depending on what I'm looking for because I'm weird like that. If I want something sweeter and heavier, I go for Coke, but if I want something with a bite to it, I go for Pepsi.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
Agreed fully Jeevies. But Pepsi Max is my all time favourite!
Pepsi Max > Coca-Cola > Pepsi > Diet Pepsi, I don't touch Diet Coke or Coke Zero.
I prefer Coca-Cola with meals—like at a restaurant or something—but Pepsi out the bottle. If they have Pepsi in the taps, Max is my first choice.
Although, that might be because I drink a lot; and Coca-Cola products burn my throat after two or three cans (let alone bottles). With a meal, I drink less. And tap-coke doesn't burn as much.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
I like either when the syrup content has messed up and it's too high. It's not sweeter, just more intense. It's lush!
Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
Clearly you've only been drinking pepsi that's been left out for a while.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
The surprising part is that people think coke is sweeter than pepsi and that pepsi is blander than coke
Did the people that like coke here try the first version and get addicted?

Greeeen.
I live their advert says 'The same great taste for an amount of years.' and it's like... I'm sure there are people who'd disagree.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
I shall give a positive comment on the one I like and a negative comment on the one I don't (but not specifically in that order).
One tastes like Cola, the other tastes like Pepsi.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
... do you mean, "One tastes like Coke, the other tastes like Pepsi"?
'cause they both taste like cola. Cola is a flavour. I'm eating giant cola bottles.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
I think he means that one tastes like a generic cola flavoring, while the other tastes like a distinctive brand. I could be completely wrong of course.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
Or did he know you think that and actually meant that he likes cola, and pepsi isn't cola.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
I forgot to elaborate on my position. I actually like the coke with real sugar best, but I like regular pepsi better than the "new" coke.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
They got rid of the sugar like 15 years ago. Now they use corn syrup. I put new in quotation marks because it's not exactly new, but it was changed somewhat recently.

Recently? You're talking almost as old as me.
I'm 18, so... I was 3 when they changed it.

Re: Pepsi verse Coca-Cola
I don't know exactly when they changed it, it could have been 50 years for all I know. I was just guessing, as I'm pretty sure it was pure sugar for a while.
