[P] Regions & Groupings
Regions & Groupings
Discussion on the separate groupings, regions, nations, city-states, tribes, areas etc. that when thrown together make up Pallis
Region 1: The Protectorate
- Spoiler:
At a temperate latitude in the west of Pallis, in one of the larger sections of the Brink Mountains, there is a city. This city is inhabited by the Diminor and is easily the Largest settlement of them, as well as the largest city left by the forerunners. They have inhabited its many corners, and it is now one of the largest cities known in Pallis. It is Alazor.
Alazor is an anomaly and a wonder. It is built upon a lake and is made mostly of stone. The lake itself fills a huge bowl in the mountains. At it's center the city is built of carved stone, it's buildings appearing to float upon the lake with no supports. Like Venice, it is filled with canals instead of streets, with generous walkways and bridge on the sides of the canals. But what is so beautiful about the construction of this lake, is that it is dammed so that the water level is always a mere inch above the walkways and ground floors of buildings. The lake is also fed by it's own mouth of the creator that does nothing else.
In Alazor government has been formed by all branches of the Diminor. The Lord of the city is known as the Protector, and all Diminor accept his authority. More importantly though, the Protector has several large tribes of the Dwallow who have come to him for protection. A large swath of land stretching outwards from the city is under his protection. This forms the closest thing Pallis has to a Nation, the Protectorate.

Region #: Diminorian Temple
I just liked the thought of having a secret but not hidden temple at this place, ;D idk but I love it ;D ty and goodnight
- Spoiler:
The Diminorian temple of Azor is located at- Spoiler:
The temple can be seen from the other side of the lake as a big white temple that been overgrown by the jungle and other trees and plants. By some evenings and nights you may hear a choir of voices singing from the temple and sometimes even lights from fires inside and outside the temple.
And once there was a lighthouse near the temple, to guide ships at the lake from not crashing into the cliffs. The lighthouse is long gone but the light from it can sometimes be seen by fishermen who are fishing at the evening or who are stuck in the mist. They call it The Guardians Light.
The hymn and its lyrics the voices are singing is, by the legends so to speak, about the birth of the mouths.
Noone really dare to go to find the temple. Around the temple theres high cliffs that are lifting the temple up from the lake, making it impossible to climb. the only way is through the jungle or the deep forest. It is said to be hunted and no one have returned from the journey.
The guards however can be seen as red figures with long sharp spears marching along the road at the entrance of the forest. But only at the dawn and at the evening. At daylight, they vanish into clouds and steem.
Idea of the guardians of the Temple of Azor:- Spoiler:
I just liked the thought of having a secret but not hidden temple at this place, ;D idk but I love it ;D ty and goodnight

If that's a temple guarded by Dimin, they're probable Bak-dimin, which means they are arrogant sons of bitches.
