Quest #1 – Temple Invasion

For the context of this quest see Psychoboy8’s “Prayer is Insulting” (74-75-124-57480183) and search for Novitiate using Ctrl+F (I have added this quest at his request)

Reqs: Wanted!, 35 Cosntruction, 35 Magic, 35 Crafting, Must have started Dragon Slayer and be far enough along to access Dwarf mines Map section room

Basic Premise: Miss Comuni Cashien of the Kinshra is willing to sell you Novitiate (Black Initiate) after Wanted! But can you prove yourself to Lord Daquarius and earn the right to wear Neophyte

Convincing Daquarius: Your allegiance was not very clear as of the end of Wanted! So Daquarius will need some convincing. He needs you to first kill 200 white knights. After you have done this Daquarius will ask you to assist Kormenilus by helping him manufacture keys for the door into the deeper part of Taverley Dungeon. Kormeniuls can be found in a room with lava vent, he says he needs 50 Bronze bars (can be noted ) to make the keys. He also needs you to help him build the conveyor belt that a Chaos Dwarf drew schematics for. For this you will need 10 oak planks, 2 Clockwork, 5 Leather, 4 Steel Bars, and 2 Ropes. Finally you must make him 10 dusty key molds, made by using the dusty key on a piece of clay and firing it.

Daquarius will now inform you of a team of Temple knights who are in the Dungeon. They have a mage who you must assassinate by entering their base (found across lava from baby blues) while wearing temple knight armour. So after you pretend to be a faithful knight you attack their mage (10hp) and kill him. then you have to kill 3 lvl 75 Temple knights and 10 white knights. The last temple knight drops "invasion plan"

Return to Daquarius and he will ask you to foil the invasion attempt. It is a tunnel built from the Dragon Slayer secret room in dwarf mines (the Temple Knights set up the room apparently) You must go down the tunnel and kill temple knight miners. once this is done the end of the tunnel will break open and Daquarius will enter along with his bodyguards, and some chaos dwarves. He will ask for your help in changing the door enchantment. (add 3 rubies and enchant) then cast a fire bolt on the door. as the enchanter you are now free to pass through the new ruby red door, the knights must cut off shards of ruby to make amulets that will allow them to pass...as you explain to them

Reward: Neophyte, 7000XP for Construction, Crafting, and Magic. New entrance to Taverly dungeon. A new NPC who sells dusty keys in the dungeon.
