All across the world, certain individuals, seemingly at random, have deviated from society in a major way. Whilst their counterparts are human, these individuals have become something altogether different. They are furries.
Within the space of 24 hours, they appeared, bearing two sets of memories. The memories of their past and that of humans that they seemingly replaced. Only now has it come to light that not only can they not possibly exist, they never were and the answer to how they blended so well has not been discovered.
Where did the furries come from? What happened to the humans they supposedly replaced? What is the Mentalist and what is fuelling its bloodthirsty wrath? How does Giovanni tie in with the fate of all the furries across this planet?
