3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
First topic message reminder :
3mptylord vs Slayer Noir: Race to80 90
Target: bgcolor=#556B2F
Max: bgcolor=#336699
Spoils of War
My suggestions that made the game:
Ashes the WASTE of a Demon, by Psychoboy8
• Synopsis: Ashes can be scattered for prayer XP, and graded by difficulty to obtain.
• Result: Impious, Accursed and Infernal Ashes, all scatterable.
Prayer Is Insulting, by Psychoboy8
• Synopsis: An expansive thread for creating a fairer Prayer skill: a Zamorakian prayerbook, Zamorakian and non-melee armour providing a prayer point bonus, etc.
• Result: The Ancient Curses prayerbook contains some conceptually similar effects to the Zamorakian prayerbook. This thread isn't closed.
Non-Player Quests/Fiction Within Fiction, by Psychoboy8
• Synopsis: A feature that allows players to assume the play of other characters to add background/depth to their story. Or even to remain as yourself in stories that would not be possible in "real life".
• Result: The Fremennik Sagas, three NPQs that take the player (in the shoes of various NPCs) into Daemonheim
Minor tweaks:
• Renaming the Zarosian Statuette.
• General Graador now drops Ourg bones (with hindsight I'm not proud of this).

It's not that fail... it's an old monitor, and I don't wanna be unplugging it while the computer's on.
Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
Dear Blog,
Wow, I actually feel depressed. At least, I think I do. What's it called where you're dreading how people will react when you next see them, and that there's a sinking feeling your gut that you're partially the blame or at least guilty for not doing anything, and fearing that whilst I want to try and make things better, I can't without sending the wrong impressions, appearing to have misread what's actually happened, or having the choose between multiple persons...?
Love,
3mpty.

Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
Dear Blog,
After living in Plymouth for two months, I decided it was finally time to do some washing.
The sodding people who designed these machines did it backwards!!! The dryers look like washing machines, and vice verse. Needless to say, I lugged all the clothes back out and put it in the right machine... now I'm waiting.
Love,
3mpty.
PS. Not having done any washing doesn't mean I haven't had washing done. Love you mum.

Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
It shouldn't.
I vote industrial for humans, but I don't think the game as a whole should have one age.

Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
well I would vote industrial for humans indeed.. what "as a whole should have one age" ? you mean some races are back in the past.. still?..

Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
Well, kinda. But, more that it just doesn't fit into a real age.
Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!

Re: 3mpty's Blog - Bizarre Boron Swell!
Humans, dwarves and gnomes are in an industrial age... however, different sorts. Gnomes makes heavy use of tinkering (the inclusion of magic in technology) - their technology could perhaps be considered modern. They don't have computers, but they have robotics - using magic instead of processors, etc. Dwarves are highly steampunk - their technology very much steam, pipes, valves, etc. Whilst humans have basically just adopted from both. They aren't completely useless, but being without magic they have steered in favour of dwarven technology.
But elves, faun and goblins aren't industrial. They are much more ecological.
