...head in a bold new direction. I think its time to stop tying ourselves at all times to the broken hopes of Gielinor and move our attention ina more fruitful and interesting direction.

Some of you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about. I'll tell you. World building. I think that the immense creativity contained within this site should be focused on building our own fantasy world. We have a broad array of talents located in this forum. And I suggest we draw them together and strike out in exploration of a bold new world. I'm not sure how much support this will gather, but what the hell.

I would suggest we build it using 3mpty's idea of one half the earth lifted into Pallis, then rework what once was merely runescape as we see fit.

I suggest that we create a new forum section solely for this purpose. I hope I'm not crazy. But this seems like a fun idea for me.

I don't think it should be completely isolated from RuneScape. At least for the time being, RuneScape should still be the lower world. Smile

I'd imagine most of us have our own fantasy worlds that we work on (I have three), but a group project would be fantastic. I think we could turn out something incredible Smile

Well yeah, I mean obviously most of us have our own stuff we are constantly conniving about but I think we could really do somehting awesomesaucome if we pooled our resources, I mean think about it. We have such a huge array of talents represented on this site. 3mpty is like a god with maps, most of you are damn good story writers. I...well I critique like a bitch and can actually organize a very interesting system.

Also, would it be an idea to have a 'center' of the world? Now that I come to think of it, many stories have something as their 'center'? (Trees, mountains, cities, towers)

A center is a good place to start. We're going to need to outline very strong, basic concepts (that we agree upon) if this is going to work. It can't be five separate worlds duck-taped together.

Also - I would prefer it be entirely separate from RS, but if ya'll guys really want to be somewhat connected, I won't have a fit.

I'M in, I have a written story of my fantasy world but like the suggestion of making a group world together.. I can write quests, locations and descriptions, but mostly I focus on suggestions shortly, trying to orginaze it and maybe make some small item icons, content for short...

I can make small ideas, and I love history of all sorts, so... I can research Tongue
