League of Legends
League of Legends is a game in the DOTA/MOBA genre (Defence of the Ancients/Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). It really good... although, the community is a bit bi-polar (they're either really nice or the worst people you've ever had the displeasure of playing with).
The premise of the game is a cross between RPG (role playing game) and RTS (real time strategy). You have a base that you have to defend, and your enemies have a base you have to attack. Each base spawns minions/NPCs at regular intervals and you need to kill the enemy's to let your progress. Killing earns gold which you can buy items with.

Re: League of Legends
Wow, I'm bad. Fortunately, one of my schoolmates has agreed to play with me, well he convinced me to play in the first place.
Once I can, these are the champions I want to play as:
Morgana (she's free this week, and I actually like her)
Miss Fortune (I MAKE IT RAIN!!!!)
Kennen (the champion my friend said I would like, and my introduction to "Why we use Hotkeys")
Akali (She looks cool)
Twitch (He doesn't)
Rumble (AOE FTW!)
Irelia (Can you say flying swords?)

Re: League of Legends
Mordekaiser is my best, he's awesome!
Nocturne is one of my favourites, but I'm awful with him unless I'm carried.
Amumu, Karthus, Orianna and Tryndamere are my "I'm okay with them" characters, I'm improving at all of them though. I fail at Orianna under pressure though...
I have Urgot and Annie too, don't really have much to say.
Amumu was my first character! He was on free on my first week he was awesome! And whilst I miss the crowd control, Mordekaiser's lack of mana/energy was too good to pass up.

Re: League of Legends
In one of my recent games, we were dominating and we were so close to winning...but then Tyrndamere got fed...and fed...and then we were struggling to play defence. Whenever we got close to killing him - UNDYING RAGE! And when it ended, he'd spin away. Moral of the story, I wanna be Tryndamere!
I can see why you like Karthus, Mr. Lord of the Emptyness.

He's only good when fed, though.
Karthus is fun. I'll admit I bought him for his Grim Reaper skin, but turns out I wasn't that bad playing him. I'm still no good at his Wall and AOE attack...
I wanna try Twitch or Evelyn.

Re: League of Legends
Yorick, an upcoming champion, perhaps makes it redundant for me to suggest a ghost champion.
Blueprints of his abilities:
Innate: Debt To Pay: He collects "souls" as he inflicts damage: souls pay for his other abilities.
Q: Haunting: He ignores unit collisions and slows targets he passes over.
W: Reaping: All champions around him are taunted for a second or two, then feared.
E: Possession: Enters an allied champion and takes damage instead of them for a length of time/damage limit; allowing them to ignore unit collisions.
R: Exorcism: Sticks his weapon into the enemy and starts to remove their soul. The leash is short and he has to remain connected for about 5 seconds. If it lands, it deals like 50% damage instantly and silences them for a second or two.

Re: League of Legends
Current or total. I hadn't put much thought into it at the time.
Yorick's artwork doesn't put me off creating a ghost/ghoul and so I think Rasper can go ahead.
Damage: Moderate (moderate gain)
Attack Speed: Moderate (moderate gain)
Health: Low-Average (moderate gain)
Range: Between melee and ranged
Move Speed: Low-Average
Armor: Low (little gain)
Magic Res: Moderate (moderate gain)
Health Regen: Moderate (moderate gain)
Attributes: Support, Melee, Fighter
His weapon of choice—for it's soul-extracting abilities—is a hook-n-chain (similar to Hades' weapon from the God of War franchise).
(Innate): Debt To Pay
Rasper's weapon shreds through his enemies soul.
(Passive): 25 / 40 / 55 % of the damage dealt by Rasper's auto-attack is converted into soul energy, the resource required to cast Rasper's abilities. Rasper's maximum soul pool is 220 + (55 x level). Upon death, Rasper's soul pool is emptied.
(Q): Haunting
Rasper's spectral form allows him pass through his enemies.
(Toggle): Rasper gains 15 / 22.5 / 30 / 37.5 / 45 % movement speed, ignoring unit collisions and slowing enemies he passes over.
(W): Reaping
Rasper entice's his enemies before scaring the living day lights out of them.
(Active): Nearby enemies are taunted for 2 seconds, then feared.
(E): Exorcism
Rasper hurls his weapon with such force it hook's his enemies soul.
(Active): Rasper leashes his enemy, slowing them for 3 seconds. If Rasper stays within range of the target for the full duration, the target is silenced and they take the greater amount of damage between flat magical damage and a percentage of the targets total health. Monsters only take the flat magical damage.
(R): Possession
Rasper posses a host champion.
(Active): Rasper takes refuge in a target champion. If allied, Rasper absorbs damage they receive. This lasts for a length of time or Rasper has absorbed a damage limit (whichever comes first). If enemy, they are silenced and take damage per second. This last for a length of time. Rasper can still use Haunting and Reaping whilst possessing a champion.

Re: League of Legends
Do you think someone similar to the Medic in Team Fortress 2 would work in League of Legends? Someone who actually cannot deal damage in favour of constant healing? Perhaps with some damage abilities? Perhaps even with something like an uber-charge that makes the person they are healing invulnerable for a length of time?
(Innate) Rod of Aesculapius (Passive): Demetry can target his allies for auto-attacks: healing them for his 50 (+0.1 per ability power) per his attack speed.
I decided whilst writing his ability that he would be useless without any form of auto attack. Perhaps it should be one of his skills?
I just think it'd be a nice support champion
(Q)
(W)
(E) Last Stand (Passive): When on his own, Demetry deals passive damage to all nearby enemy champions equal to 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+0.1 per his ability power) per his attack speed and healing himself for 25% of the damage.

Re: League of Legends
I think I actually might quit Runescape! Since I started playing LoL, I realized that RS is quite boring. It's just grinding to get some goal, then grinding to get another one.
But first, I have to write my last ideas: Gnomeball, the Svet Trilogy, and my Letter to RS

What's your level on Thatgei? I've just created an American account to dodge the EU server issues (when they are up )... but I've just had 3 games and I honestly can't play with noobs.
I had an Urgot who didn't seem to even realise he could kill minions. He'd sit at spawn and only come out when the enemy was on low health... and then die, for obvious reasons. My first game with Veiger and I was doing well except for the amount of feed they had.

Re: League of Legends
He's hard. He's really good harass, and he does more damage to groups of people. The only real way to counter him is either to be better than him as solo unit (i.e. 1v1), or attack him from both sides (because his abilities only hurt groups who are together).

If I ever got into this sort of thing, all I would do is go under a pseudonym of someone I despise and act like a total bastard to everone I meet. That way, they are the one they dislike and not me.
