Are you happy with the way things are at The Suggestion Site?
Poll - Glory Days

I was browsing through threads the other day, as I do, when I came across this quote from Amascut (sorry to incriminate you): "I'm really hoping TST starts picking up again."
It got me thinking. Are our glory days behind us here on the Suggestion Site? Do we need new members? Do we need to increase our presence on the RSOF? Or are you guys happy with the way things are right now - being a small, but tight knit community?
I think it's worth knowing, so we can decide what we want to do in the future. So give a quick vote on the poll, and if you have time, elaborate slightly.

I prefer us to remain small and together, I mean, if we grow too much, trlls will come in, there will be fractures in the unity, and that also brings hte risk of someone giving a bad image of us. We should also take in mind htat glory doesn't equals big. A single person can earn glory, and a small group too, so I think that we don't need an army of members here

In the end, I voted to expand. I want more feedback on my work but I don't want to expose it to the RSOF prematurely.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to become massive instantly. But a handful of new members would be nice - perhaps trying to find 5 new regulars?

I'm okay with expansion. I voted for being a smaller community, not for remaining at our current size. Poll lack options.

5 new regulars sounds good actually. I think the main problem is that we don't have many people who are invested in RS, I think only you and 3mpty, to a lesser extent, are.

Doing some statistics.
Our group has 65 registered users. If you go to the memberlist and sort by number of posts, you'll see a big jump from 192 to 445 posts, so we'll call that gap the cut off as what we define "regular" - disregarding whether they're past or present.
That gives us 14 people who are or have been "regulars"
14/65 is 21% - for simplicity, we approximate this to 20%, so we can say 1 in 5 people who register become regulars
So, to get 5 regulars, we'd theoretically have to invite 25 people.

Or hit them in the head with a mace and then put them in bas, then put chains on the bags, that's how we'll do it

Really? I was gonna go for the soft approach, ask them nicely and don't force them. If that fails though, I'll go to the GE and buy a mace
