I have just quit the Caped Carousers...I was called stupid and illiterate by the clan leader who then proceeded to deny he had insulted me. This happened while we were having a quite reasonable argument over the pros and cons of the ROW

My only, and it took some effort to find a dislike worth noting, was their use of the word "wrym". It means dragon. "Wurm" or "Worm", please. >.<

And a Dragon isn't allowed to be limbless and burrowing?

I don't think it's fixed anything - it's just something nice in the hope that we stop complaining for a while. But yes, it was nice.

And no, a dragon isn't allowed to be limbless. That isn't a dragon. From a western perspective: "Dragons" are typically the 6-limbed creatures; "Wyverns" are the 4-limbed dragons, wings and hind-legs, sometimes their wings are attached to "forearms"; "Wyrm" is our "Eastern Dragon", usually slender and more worm-like and usually has none, two, four or six limbs (none, wings, wings and hind-legs, wings and four legs). My favourite type of wyrm are the ones who walk on four legs and their wings are vestigial, but the most common is a winged serpent (RuneScape doesn't and didn't have this, I just like it ). A "Wurm" is occasionally used to refer to a more fictional worm - size, predatory status, etc.

RuneScape already had wyrms in it's history before they changed their mind on what they should look like - making them dragon-headed worms. The Dragon Riders mounted wyrms and took to the skies - all seen wyrms would be, obviously, unable of this. I wish Jublex would declare when they are ditching something. Strykewryms and that blasted Desert Wyrm. I reckon they just forgot they'd used the word already.

Wyrms were already in-game as winged creatures, with an unknown amount of limbs, prior to Jublex releasing Desert and Strykewyrms. I'm not saying a wyrm can't be limbless, in some cases it is, but not when wyrms are already described as not being limbless. I wish Jublex would either inform us they are ditching old lore, or not using already used terms if they aren't ditching it.

Don't get me wrong though, strykewyrms are an awesome concept! I'm just being knitpicky.
