On a side note i managed to kick my 3rd quarter grade in chemistry from an A- to an A (my teacher said i was missing a homework assignment i had done in the period he assigned it, showed to him, and been told was completely right)

Well school is winding down...just finished my major projects for the rest of the year WOOOT!!!

What I have to do for the next week

Tuesday:
- Finish bibliography and stuff for my monstrosity of a calculus paper and hand it in
- Hand in and present creative project for bible and literature
- Present final project on chem experiment
- Hand in final history paper (small one)
- Start simulation of WWI Europe
- Make poster about subject of my Calc paper (have all the little paragraphs made)

Wednesday:
- Present poster about calc topic to class
- Act an extremely minor part in final spanish video
- Finish an architectural model

Thursday
- Finish simulation
- Show and tell about something related to bible

Friday
- NOTHING IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!

Saturday
- SAT 2 in Chemistry

Sunday
- Fly to other side of country

Monday
-Grandfather's funeral :'( (but it was amazing that it didn't interfere with anything)

Tuesday or Wednesday
- Fly home...and then get on a plane to other grandparent's house

Go Explore the great outdoors! then go home! then take Driver's Ed, take care of my sister, visit the place my mom works for 6 weeks in the summer... go on a research trip to the arctic

Got my report card for 10th grade and i is happy!

Calculus: A+
History: A
English: A
Architecture (1 semester): A
Sculpture (1s): A
Bible and Literature (1s): A
English Now (1s): A-
Chemistry: A-
Spanish: A-

Urgh... Foolish letter system... A is good?

A+ is best possible...
A is like 94%-97%
A- is 90-93

Foolish letter system? Says the country with negative grades!

For some reason, the U.S. system skips "e".

E is skipped because they decided score<60% =fail

A* (as of the next academic year), A, B, C, D, E and U are the English A level grades. U = ungraded, everything else is a pass (regardless of how fail of a pass it is). In terms of going to University each grade is worth a different amount of points, so E might be a pass but it's worth like 20 points (compared to 80, I think, for A). A* is being introduced to distinguish between high-As and As due to the fact Universities are getting far to many applications with samey grades and they can't distinguish as easily any more...
