Re: Ruy's Project
I dislike the colour being attached to holy and unholy.
Bearer of light, acquired lawfully from unholy premises.
Bearer of light, acquired unlawfully from holy premises.

Re: Ruy's Project
What makes it an unholy premise?
Also, the holy one is holy, 'cause it's kinda acquired from a holy place

Re: Ruy's Project
He doesn't work for her, he just makes candles for his customers. At least, that's my opinion on the matter. And ruy, you could have said you meant items; you said you wanted locations, and I used your riddles.

Delayed, but being written, no deadline.
How do you make "'napple and 'nana rum"?

Re: Ruy's Project
What do you think of dialogues in a quest? Are they necessary?

Re: Ruy's Project
Only if the quest is story-centered, and not action centered. Examples are: Desert Treasure and Elemental Workshop (respectively).

Re: Ruy's Project
It's story centered... I am not good at writing it, and would only do it, if it was necessary

Re: Ruy's Project
Are you talking about having dialogues in the actual quest itself? Or are you talking about having the dialogues in your written quest? If it's in the actual quest, I don't see how you couldn't have a dialogue of some sort in order to push the plot forward. As far as written quests go, however, I find that dialogues add a lot of character to the plot and help to capture the essence of whatever it is you're trying to do at that moment with those characters. Personally, I haven't written dialogues for any of my quests yet, but Blaze is the resident expert on it, I imagine.

Re: Ruy's Project
I am thinking in the written quest, there's no doubt it would be in the actual one.
I've in the past written quests without dialogue like, "He seems scared and asks you to....". I was just wondering if you thought it is something that should be there, when I read quest ideas, I often skip dialogues, because I find them annoying to read
