Let's rebirth the Suggestion Forum!

To continue from one of Dark Avorian's threads (which I couldn't find) we should rebirth the Suggestions Forum! How hard could it be? We have near to a dozen semi-active members - that's easily enough to repopulate a forum.

Everyone post a stub/snippet of a manageable and realistic suggestions. Then we need merely muster some complete suggestions and post 'em on the RCF! Maybe even have a tag that we use so they're all recognisably ours; [tst]?

Well I have my Dungeonerring idea...I am debating on, when it finally gets complete (perhaps during the release of Duke nukem forever) if it should go into suggestions or game feedback (what ever its called now).

Well, the only suggestions I coud really contribute our quests, which aren't really as suggestion-y as other things.

I guess I could always post my Zero-Sum pking idea...i know some others have started to say it...although not sure if there is an actual thread about it....


basicly all items lost on a pking world are put into a 'pot'. When you kill someone, the item you get will be from this pot or one of the pking items...brawler gloves or the armor sets.

This way, no gp is arbitrarily created and at the same time items are not lost (other then untradeables)...should dampen the inflation problem.

As interesting an idea as this is, I have 2 problems with it. 1) What about the non-TST members on this forum? Do we get honorary membership or something?
2) I don't actually have any suggestions; I just improve/refine already existing suggestions.

I still think these statements I posted on the Timer Changes and More... thread in the Forum Communities forum are still valid:

Keep the Member 1800+ Suggestions forum as is.

And keep the Dungeoneering forums where they are at whether than try to force them into the skill/suggestion forums as that skill is the 1 skill deserving of its own forums as it was the only skill intended to be its own game and added into RuneScape."

Split the skill forum like such:

Combat skills
Resource skills
Production skills
Personal skills
Underhanded skills (for those that fit in RuneScape but usually a bad idea to promote in real life)
Magic

Any additional skills that fall under several sections like Magic does should also get their own respective forum. While any skills that cause RuneScape to get an expansion like Dungeering did should also get their own respective forum section.

Rename the Everyone section as Free game and the Members section as Members game.

Condense the Members 1800+ section to these forums as more would be overkill there:

High Level Lounge
High Level Suggestions
High Level Constructive Criticism

Add a Constructive Criticism forum for out of game stuff related to RuneScape that is either based right after the Off-Topic forum which comes right after the Official - Official announcements from Jagex section of the forums or right before the Off-Topic forum which is at the very end of the list of forums."

Oh yeh, lol. When I suggested [tst] I completely forgot that it was also the initials of the clan. How about [sep], since most of us originate from the Suggestion Enrichment Program. Or [now] 'cause it says now and means noobs of wars - which most of us are. Although, Im sure Orbie wouldn't object to a rank for you guys in the TST, I'll ask.

I agree with you though; I think most of my best ideas are just reworking others.
