Not at all. It's not been properly updated for some time and I would prefer some help.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
Alrighty, once I start delving, I play nitpicky. It's something I'm generally good at, and since I play the current game, I'll try and help clean up some lore-issues, if they arise, to further mark its validity.
Re: Re: The True Nightmare
You would prefer some help? Every time we, the people on this site, have tried to help you, we're rejected and you love to tell us how we're wrong.
It seems in your counterarguments you seem to have a pretty clear idea who he is and frankly, don't need help.
EDIT: Sorry to be mean, but seriously, you know this creature like the back your hand and every time we suggest something it contradicts everything you wrote. I can help, but what do you need help with now?

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
Right now, I've fallen behind with practically everything Arzonus and I want to claim my place before someone else walks in with something inferior.
That's why I need help.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
ok.... morb. Then go to the rsof and post the first quest so you have a confirmed spot. Then you can take as long as you need to come up with your new stuff.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
Yes, please do, Arzonus was being discussd in Future Updates recently, due to some new Werewolf content being released with the Loyalty Programme, and somebody throught Arzonus would be worked on.
But yeah, if you can start getting them up on the RSOF, thing's start looking further up for TST in that you all can triumphantly return to the forums in a blaze of glory and self-pity!

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
You'll be pleased to know that Arzonus WILL be released this Wednesday as I have managed to take the time off to mend continuity errors. It will start off with some quests and filler material to start with.
Then I will regularly update my existing quests so that a quest with some material will be uploaded on Wednesdays and Sundays. This gives me time to check over what needs improving and allows me to get to work on the next set of quests (and there are a lot).

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
One of the rewards of "Master's Training", the next quest due for release, was the ability to acquire prayer experience from demon ashes. As this was written before the release of impious, infernal and accursed ashes, this reward will be modified accordingly.
Instead, the Novice for Prayer will suggest something called "heretic's charm". It increases prayer drainage, but boosts the power of the active prayer by a small amount. These are made from bones of certain creatures that would otherwise not drop bones or from distinctive holy creatures.

That already exists, in the form of the Amulet of Zealots, which is a reward from Dungeoneering. It has a -12 Prayer bonus on it, but increases the power of active prayers by 10% or so.
Re: Re: The True Nightmare
Okay, we need another reward based around prayer.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
Honestly, Prayer should be avoided. It has a *billion* items that are helpful for it. Even the new auras are good, the Dungeoneering Prayer Restoring necklaces, the Bonecrusher, Ashes, the full Penance that recovers prayer... Perhaps another skill? Summoning? Increasing summoning timers by a small amount maybe?
Re: Re: The True Nightmare
hm… well then I must have done wrong because my quest (Axar V) has a reward that helps both prayer and summoning…

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
The purpose of the quest "Master's Training" was that a novice from each combat dictation was meant to produce a project to get on to the next level and the player had to test it.
The Melee novice produces a light based feather that prevents Reapers from "shading away" during combat.
The Magic novice invents a staff inmbued with silver that is more effective against monsters such as vampyres.
The Range novice has forged a crossbow that fires a special magnetised bolt that increases accuracy for a short time after if it hits.
And the prayer novice was working on something that would benefit prayer.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
A weapon then... How about a Blessed Book to go in the shield slot, that gives you prayer regeneration based on how hard you hit? So if you hit a 300, for example, it regenerates 300 prayer over 30 seconds or so.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
I'm smoking a Prayer Restore Potion >.>
EDIT: And it'd be a random effect of course. Your hits have a random chance of restoring prayer points equal to the damage you just hit, capped at say 300.

The Blessed Wrench does something similar.

Re: Re: The True Nightmare
The blessed wrench is nothing more than around 15 extra prayer points when you drink a potion.
Crits aren't around *yet*, though your max is denoted by a yellow splash. However, a combat overhaul is coming this summer that will completely change combat anyway...
