Dusk blog
First topic message reminder :
Dear Blog,
This is my first entry and I need to start saying this, I HATE A SCHOOL PARTNER , he jokes on me facking that he is gay, and this has been for 5 years now, and I have been hating him for 8 years, I hate every ounce of him, I can't even stand his smell
With rage against my school partner
Dusk.

Re: Dusk blog
Well, I was on the game last night, saw your account and offered them a dark wolf hug. That's when they replied that they were a friend, not actually you.
I am only concerned because, at one stage, account sharing was against the rules.

Re: Dusk blog
I know, but nobody here will say that, right? Plus, how could htey notice the difference, one can always send an email to Jagex with an excuse

Re: Dusk blog
That rule is an anti-RWT rule. They won't enforce it for friends sharing an account casually, I doubt.
Re: Dusk blog
Yeah, we share it casually, plus, the rule enforces if I sold hte account to him, right? And plus, they can't keep that facade of anti-RWT after SoF

Re: Dusk blog
I more meant RWT where you pay someone to level your account, but yeah, selling your account is covered by it too.

Re: Dusk blog
I'm pretty sure account sharing in all forms is wrong. I dunno, Jagex changed their rules regarding RWT recently so what might have previously covered this situation could've changed.

Noone's going to report you, Dusk. However, I believe Jagex staff visit this site, so be careful.

Re: Dusk blog
How can you suspect that? i mean, do you have proof for your claims?

Re: Dusk blog
No proof. If I had proof, I'd be saying "I know Jagex visit this site" rather than "I believe"
But my suspicions come from three sources
1. We always seem to have an inexplicable number of guests on this site.
2. Some ideas from here that weren't published on the RSOF seem to have gotten ingame.
3. Why wouldn't they come here? They surely know it exists and they look for suggestions regularly according to the JMods I spoke to.
Yes, there are counter-arguments for all three points. Alternate explanations to the evidence. That's why it's mere suspicion. But I like the idea that they're keeping an eye out for ideas here.

Re: Dusk blog
Well, for starters, fire spirits from the new bonfire updates seem very similar to some aspects of my Firemaking Revamp
The new combat update seems very similar to ideas me and 3mpty were toying with about a year and a half ago - which is about the right time within a development process for it to be possible
I'm sure we can think of more given time. I tend only to remember the ones involving me though.

Re: Dusk blog
WE were trying to achieve a system that didn't involve click and wait. Jagex are now doing exactly the same thing. Much of what we know about the update is just speculation right now, but it appears there's gonna be a hotbar system with multiple additional attacks, much like some of the ideas we were toying with.
Like I say, it's impossible to concretely prove anything, and thus quite hard to justify. It's just a contributing factor to my suspicion.
