I'm getting the hang of it, the tutorial really helps and I am finding it great fun. It's a welcome additions, but some things might need a little fine tuning, but they'll be done in the run up to the launch.

It's just a nightmare going anywhere, because so many people are moaning "it's the death of rs" "wowscape" and "rip rs". Honestly, if you don't like it, don't play it! All we're hearing is whinge (x7).

Will the changes be enough to recast RS as the causal gamer's MMORPG? If you play any other RPG-esque game, you'll immediately realize that RS's current combat system is shoddy at best. This overhaul could be enough to get middle-schoolers excited about RS again.

Well, I don't know the full details. Jagex said that Evolution of Combat was going live on the 20th HOWEVER that doesn't mean it might apply to all worlds. It could be a case where the Beta worlds are live in addition to the worlds with normal combat so you could switch between the two and have the best of both worlds until people get the hang of it.

I've seen it as positive, save for a few issues that I want to mention, but a small minority that will riot over ANYTHING are seriously anti because it's new.
