Skills...
First topic message reminder :
Imagine we had complete control over the skills within RuneScape, both existing and forthcoming; what would be our dream list?
Resource Gathering skills;
• Farming; cultivating plants for harvesting [of produce].
• Felling; cutting wood, and other resources, from trees.
• Fishing; procuring fish, and similar creatures, from bodies of water, lava or from the air.
• Mining; reprising minerals from the earth (and foreign substances).
• Rearing; animal husbandry (meat, pelts and other produce).
• Runecraft; collecting magical energies from altars constructed at magically-unstable locations.
• Skinning; carving flesh, and other prizes, from a dead carcass.
Processing/Production skills;
• Alchemy; the practice of converting one thing into another, using magical energies and other natural chemicals.
• Conjuring; the practice of spinning magical energies into a sustained form, such as weapons and armour.
• Cooking; the practice of preparing edible (and occasionally inedible) dishes.
• Fletching
• Herblore
• Smithing; the practice of metal-forging, such as weapons and armour.
• Stonecutting; the practice of gemstone-enchantment using light and magical energies, and augmentation. (inspired by Fable)
• Stonework;
• Tailoring
• Tinkering
• Woodwork; the practice of carving wood, to create items such as weapons, carts and canoes.
Combat skills;
• Attack
• Strength
• Sorcery
• Mana
• Ranged
• Marksmanship
• Defence
• Hitpoints
• Agility
Character Development skills;
• Bending; kinetic manipulation of the elements.
• Demonology
• Firecraft
• Hunter
• Mysticism
• Necromancy
• Prayer
• Slayer
• Thieving
• Summoning
• Zoanthropy
Recreational skills;
• Archaeology
• Construction
• Seafaring
Lost skills;
• Crafting, all over the place.
• Magic, all over the place.
I'm trying to recall them all. I think I've probably missed half of the existing skills.

Re: Skills...
The Mystic! The coloured band connects a mystic to his target, healing them. Healing has no penalty on your own defence, however, it diminishes your accuracy and limits you to light, one-handed weaponry. You do not have to be aligned with your target, just within an area of. Should the distance become too great, or there's an obstruction, the contact is broken.
Re: Skills...
About sorcerer...make it a lot clearer that she isn't using combat...honestly i thought she was levitating a scroll with a battle spell on it... make her be turning something into gold

Re: Skills...
Despite that he is obviously half-bear and not half-wolf. I'll see what adding skin-tones does.

Re: Skills...
My main goal for the summoning one was to include the pouch... and I couldn't think of any other way the pouch is actually involved.
Re: Skills...
that is how it works...if I'm correct you use the obelisk etc to lure the spirit into the pouch...

Re: Skills...

Re: Skills...
hmmmmm....
I guess I should refrain from conjuring spells, however I do have a few conjuring spells I made for the spellbook I am designing for the Axar series...

Re: Skills...
Depends what you are conjuring... the Conjuring skill combines pottery spinning with Magic. *throws wind energy into the lectern and uses a series of hand motions to shape it*
If it's something that could be considers Sorcery - like enchantment, alchemy and teleportation - then put it there.

well, my spells do more with summoning than magic based off of your criteria.. Lol..
You can summon multiple Poppet spirits, however they require high magic levels, and you can control them to do what you want with them rather than having a single set of tasks that are assigned to them upon summoning.
EDIT: That is basically the general idea; right now that is all I have so far. I'll elaborate it further, and they might be another familiar, but oh well.

Re: Skills...
Lol... sounds like Summoning entirely.
Well... with a hint of Necromancy. Since puppetry is an element of our fictional Necromancy skill.

Re: Skills...
Yeah...I liked our idea for necromancy...would be funny if we ended up with people standing in banks surrounded by like 4 fletching corpses...
