Re: Mahjarrat Discussion (spoilers)
One of the rewards of "The Pandoran Boxes" are Mahjarrat Vestments that used to belong to Kharshai, he shouldn't be needing them again anytime soon.
The set includes a Mahjarrat Tunic, Breeches, Brogan (feet), Coifurre, Cloak and Gloves.
What stats should they have?

Type "Mahjarrat" into Google Images. Scroll down to page 7. Just at the end, you'll see a familiar face.

Re: Mahjarrat Discussion (spoilers)
I decided that in order to prevent the Stone of Jas being further abused, there is only one place suitable to put it once it is safely reacquired after the Nightmare Begins. Master Maelstrom and the other members of the elemental council believe that it would be safest in the realm of Singularity.
Singularity is six minutes out of synch with ordinary time, so exists slightly ahead in the future. This makes any means of trying to teleport there impossible, because co-ordinates cannot lock on correctly. The Stone of Jas will be safe where ordinary creatures will not have access to it. The only creatures that live in Singularity are the time keepers and they are only interested in this world and time safe.

In addition to the rewards currently available for "The Pandoran Boxes", the player will also learn the spell "Runes of Zaros". This spell is entirely unpredictable and can throw a variety of effects into play in addition to the high maximum damage it can do.
Here are the combat based elements of what it can do;
1. It can deal the standard damage, no extra effects.
2. Hits through prayer.
3. Reduces stats of the target.
4. Hit multiple characters at once.
5. Saps away the user's health to increase damage dealt on the opponent.
6. Poisons the foe.
7. Freezes the foe.
8. The user's rune usage is doubled for the next three spells.
In addition, some non-combat orientated effects can occur;
1. Fruit falls from the sky.
2. The target will dance for a short while.
3. Postie Pete will appear having had his post route intercepted.
4. Both the foe and the user will have their degradable weapons/armour mended.
5. Both parties will be teleported a short distance away within the immediate area.
In appearance, the spell resembles the ones used by Azzanadra and Sliske during Ritual of the Mahjarrat, albeit, slightly less co-ordinated.

From the point of view of someone who has completed it, just how hard was the combat in RoTM? I look at it and the hardest part looks like the Ice Demons, as they can block you in and risk you being defeated by Lucien's spell. Whereas the armoured zombies and Arrav look simple, if you keep moving around.

Re: Mahjarrat Discussion (spoilers)
Frankly, the combat in ROTM isn't hugely difficult, so long as you use your brain.
Touching the Stone just before the battle raises your combat stats to (for me, to about 150), although many people ruined that bonus by using Saradomin brews. With rocktails instead, this made the whole thing quite easy.
Lucien's attacks, though strong, were avoidable.
You had plenty of allies helping you. The Barrows, Sliske, Wahisietel, Tiffy, Akrisie and Idra, so despite the seemingly large numbers of enemies, it never got too intense.
Along with all that, you could leave at any point and restock. When returning to the plateau, you'd start again from the last cutscene you had, so it didn't have to all be done in 1 go either.
You'll get frozen quite a lot. However, you can escape the freezing, and it wasn't too hard for me to figure out how. Now, with guides out, this shouldn't be a problem at all.
That all said, I did die once against the ice titans - I made the mistake of bringing brews, not knowing that the Stone would boost me, and I figured out how to break their freeze attacks too late. With a guide, I'd have easily done it all without dying...

I think the Stone of Jas will be aiding the werewolves in the final battle, much more strongly than it did previously.

I just had a thought crop into my head. Just how powerful would Giovanni Magnus become if he touched the Stone of Jas?

Well, the Stone of Jas is gone now. It's inaccessable. Hidden, long gone, and likely won't be returned

Letter to Sliske
Do they still run the Postbag from the Hedge? I had a letter to write to Sliske in light of the recent events involving Zaros and the Ritual of Rejuvination. Here's how it goes.
"For the Attention of the Mahjarrat Sliske
As someone who studies a lot of lore in Gielinor, I have a few questions about the Mahjarrat and the Empty Lord. The thing is, I don't see eye to eye with a lot of other Mahjarrat, so I cannot ask them. But considering that I haven't seen your eyes, I'll take a stab in the dark and ask you a few questions.
1. What kind of creatures served in the ranks of Zaros? I have been informed from some friends that aside from your kind, the likes of bloodreavers, the Auspah and a creature named Nex all served Zaros at one stage. Where there others whose allegiances remained unchallenged? Were there some who, unlike those I have already mentioned, didn't fight in the God Wars?
2. The Mahjarrat themselves. It is clear to me that Freneskae was a place that many of your kind speak fondly of, as it clear as the knowledge that your allegiances with one another are as sturdy as an eggshell. If so, why leave and in, dare I say it, your ragtag group? How many were there to start with?
3. Making a few estimations from details given to me about the Ritual, I've partially worked out why the events must take place. I have guessed that the Ritual works something like this. Freneskaen soil features a quality where when blood is spilt on it, those nearest to the blood being spilt, will acquire the power of the fallen (this is going by one of Enakhra's descriptions of Freneskae, where she mentions life comes easily from death and death comes from life and to that end explains why Freneskae is eternally warring). That must mean the Ritual Site and some of the area around it is composed of Freneskaen soil and being present on it allows the effect to be felt (which explains why Jhallan believed hiding beneath it would still effect him and possibly explains where abouts in RuneScape you first emerged, bringing with you some soil and the marker). Therefore, when the planets are aligned, a resonance is created between Gielinor and Freneskae so that when blood is spilt, the plane reaches out to the ritual site and rejuvinates the survivors. Would this be the case?
4. I explained my theory on the Ritual above, but could other species be capable of acquiring the effects for themselves, suggesting they might have Mahjarrat flesh, blood, bone or heritage? And to that extension, can Mahjarrat even breed with other species?
5. Another Mahjarrat, Azzanadra, once indicated that your native tongue was dangerous to speak. Why is this? If it so, could you perhaps impart a few of your more benign phrases (I know a few people who would like at least one taunt for when they smite our enemies). If you have a language, you must a have some kind of culture involved beyond that of warfare, art, literature or music perhaps?
6. Since 500 of our mortal years transpire between Rituals, what exactly do you get up to in that time? Nothing personal, just curious, eventhough when considering your longevity, the concept of such time is laughable. And considering how long you've been around, you've probably seen a great deal as well; before they became the feral beasts of Canifis today, would the werewolves or their approximate ancestors have been capable of any kind of culture?
That is all I can care to ask for the time being.

P.S. One of my colleagues who dispatched me most of my intel informs me that you tried to take his life as your own property. He is quite annoyed and I must say that I am too. Nobody kills him and/or subjects him to mental torture, but me."
