MorbiusMonster wrote:To be honest, you can't really say much about gay people when, essentially, a priest is usually a man in a dress.
And about the priest comment…really? Equating homosexuality with effeminacy? And those are robes, not a dress.
And Dusk, Morb, or whoever is bickering at the Church, as much as it seems like but the Christian faith is not as homogenous as it seems. It is easy think that they are all after us but not every Christian is the same. Same with anyone of any faith.
For instance, my family's church is Methodist and very open towards gays. Today I even saw a gay man with the boyfriend introduce him to the partner. Now down the street…well across the highway on the opposite side of town…you have a large Baptist mega-church who avidly preaches against homosexuality.
I know Catholics have a bad reputation about the homosexuality. I know the Pope hates it, but that is honestly expected? There are Catholic ministers who avidly preach for the gays.
It all boils down really on the individual pastor and how s/he wishes to preach the word of God.
TBH, this was hard for me to realize but not everyone who is Christian wants to burn us on a stake. It does make good hysterical TV, but that's it.

The name always refers to the most vocal representative. For example, "homosexual" brings to mind the fairy-queen-stereotype. We're all wish our peers would stop giving us a bad rep, but that's just how it goes I'm afraid.

Perhaps I'm feeling a little tense. I still don't understand why some people endorse or try to spread intolerance though; if we all live on this Earth for such little time, why spend it hating certain people when understanding and emphasizing just feels better.

You are spreading intolerance of religion. Just saying. "I still don't understand why some people endorse or try to spread intolerance though; if we all live on this Earth for such little time, why spend it hating certain people when understanding and emphasizing just feels better."
Fight fire with fire.
Why are you wasting your time worrying about what they think when they are an increasing minority who have no influence over anything anymore?

What's that got to do with anything?

Okay, too subtle. Or perhaps just contextual.
Well I was at the pub with some mates and we were playing pool. Most of the tables were in use. I didn't realise tailored trousers went so transparent when stretched until today. As flattering angles go: pool definitely has its fair share.

Absolutely. Some people look so good in a suit (and through it).
There was such an assorted selection of underwear: low hanging trousers is good for something.
Why isn't "assortion" a word? I keep wanting to say it whenever the correct phrase would be "assorted selection".

I concur, alhough most people I see in suits are fat and look disgusting. (I live in the 5th fattest state in the nation)
